CAVIAR Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Leave-in Smoothing Gelee, 3.4-Fluid Ounce

I’ve been using this product for several years and pray that Alterna will never discontinue this and that Amazon never stops selling it. Nothing else comes close. It’s expensive but worth it. This coming from someone who uses drugstore shampoo and conditioner. Please make this in an economy size! Before this magical gelée, I used Alterna’s 10-in-1 CC Cream until the formula changed (it’s like glue now). I’ve also used the Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream, but it made my air-dried hair look awful the first day and even worse thereafter. I used to blow dry my hair with this and love the super glossy, salon blowout result. But ever since I tried air drying with it, I haven’t gone back because my hair falls so nicely and looks great without doing any work. Method: I use the gelée alone on freshly (double) washed, towel-dried hair and it let air dry. My hair is thick, long, wavy, and frizzes easily, and I learned over time that small amounts of this product aren’t enough. With a whopping dollop, my hair is shiny, defined and has natural-looking hold without stiffness for a good 2-3 days until the next shampoo. Before it dries completely, I put it up in a ballerina bun for a bit. This smooths out the strands and creates extra shine and definition. Afterward, until the next shampoo, I do NOT do anything else. No reapplication, nor do I need to reactivate it with water. I don’t even comb it. My hair looks even better the next day after sleeping with a loose bun. This product penetrates my hair without any crunchiness, flaking, greasiness, or weight. It’s a miracle.

I saw this on the counter at my hair dressers and found it on line and LOVE it! I have thick hair that feels dry after washing even though I try to use good hair products. Applying this and leaving it in results in a lovely feel and I can't forget the lovely fragrance. Great product!

I love this product for my 3C fine and curly hair. I just wish that you could purchase it in a bigger bottle because I have to use about 2 large quarter size portions in my wet hair for my hair to stay fixed and curly and not frizzy all day. If you have a habit of wetting your hair to fix it every morning, this bottle will not last you long. The great thing about this gelee is that it doesn’t dry hard and it smells clean and a bit citrusy.
