Replacement for Elite2
Our upstairs instant showers have to be fed from the cold water tank (rather than mains) and we have two separate Mira showers to do that. This replaced an Elite2. Firstly the price here was very competitive and delivered in 2 days and secondly our own plumber manager to fit it without the need of an electrician as it is a straight replacement right down to screwholes. There are some noticeable differences in that it is much much quieter (the motor is insulated inside the unit). Even the plumber was impressed. We had a narrow head on the old shower giving quite a forceful shower but have set this to a rainfall setting which is softer but I quite like and it is more than adequate. Interestingly the setting is best on medium. Turning to high gives very hot water. Very happy with the replacement. So much so that I am thinking of replacing my other one which works well, purely because of the quietness.

Great shower easy to install very quiet

Replacment for a Elite ST
This product is a direct replacement for my now failed 7 year old Mira Elite ST, which as been a great shower with full control and water pressure from the internal pump. Now this Mira Elite SE is USELESS, I cannot control the temperature, on high with the temperature turned right down to cold, the water is scalding hot and on ECO with the temperature turned to suitable level, the internal pump is useless for water pressure. This has got to be the worst shower I have bought. Bear in mind, I am comparing it to the old and excellent Mira Elite ST model.

Third time lucky.
This is the third Mira tank fed power shower i have had.....the last one lasted 10 years. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly quiet.
Straightforward to install. Pretty quiet. Overall very pleased.

Not as quiet as expected or claims made
Replaced like for like so installation was no problem. However, the shower does not seem as powerful as our old one. It is quieter but the claim that you wont hear it over the water flow is rubbish as the unit is still quite noisy. We have replaced the shower head as that seems to be inferior to our old one too.
