Always reliable, delicious, nutty rye!
Great rye flour option for bread bakers. I love to make sourdough (got started about a year ago) and use 1/3 to 1/2 rye flour for my loaves. Fresh for something you can get at the store and relatively cost effective. King Arthur is always a reliable mid-upper tier brand and I appreciate that it's widely available. Great texture, taste, and good size bag. I use it to feed my starter as well as bake, and love the nutty taste of the flavor I get from it.

This is a 100% U.S. grown and milled, organic, non-GMO flour, which makes me feel good about what I’m using. Excellent Rye Flour.
Great Quality. King Arthur is simply on another level when you bake. It's the only one we use. We've used the Whole Flour before and this is the first time using the Rye Flour. It added a great flavor to the bread. Would buy again. Minus one star for the price.

I make sourdough and this flour is added 1:3 ratio to my starter and it takes off like mad. I love it! You should use bread flour for your starter and strengthen it before baking, by feeding the starter 1/8 cup of this and 1/4 cup of the bread flour. It will pop!
