White Lightning 2-in-1 Bike Lubricant and Degreaser – Cleans, Lubricates & Protects Bicycle Chains and Gears, Reduces Friction, Rust Prevention, 4 Fl Oz

I have been using it for the last few rides and it works quite well, lubricates and cleans at the same time, as it says in its advertising. Quite pleased with this product.

Update after 5 months: I've been using the same bottle this whole time and still have about 1/2 left after relubing maybe twice a week, so it's far cheaper than Rock n Roll lube because the thicker White Lightning allows you to waste none of it when applying. It's very easy to do one drop per link or just run the bottle tip at an angle along the chain if you want to do it faster. Rock n Roll pours out too quickly like water when applying to the chain and the instructions even say you should squirt it over the chain, not just one drop per link. So even though the price is similar, White Lightning is a fraction of the actual cost. Another advantage is that I've seen white lightning 2-in-1 sold in lots of places even Walmart, while most bike lubes have to be ordered from a specialty shop. ---- Have only used this for a few weeks but I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Rock n Roll Gold. So far it acts very similarly, it's a lighter lube that doesn't attract a lot of dirt/sand, easy to clean off, but doesn't last long. It is sort of watery but a little thicker than Rock n Roll by comparison and suited for mostly dry/summer riding. I put a drop on each link and wipe the chain with a paper towel. Lasts maybe a day or two if you are picky about shifting, but can go several days if needed. A minor inconvenience is the bottle is not transparent to see how much remains.

This thing is amazing it not only cleans all that gunk off your chain, you just have to wipe it off and apply a new layer and you’re good to go

Works well

Dry lubricants are the best, especially if you ride your bike in dusty, dirty conditions. Riding in wet conditions also isn’t terrible, but you might want a more water-resistant, WET bike chain lubricant in that case. The perks of a dry chain lube would definitely include cleanliness, as the chain lube doesn’t get all over your shoes and potentially your pants, as well as contaminating other surfaces. Always make sure to clean/prep your bike chain, before applying chain lube. If you don’t have a whole proper cleaning and de-greasing setup, at least get a rag or paper towel, and wipe down as much grime and dirt that you can. This will help get rid of the debris and gunk, that might further degrade the condition and longevity of your chain.

My old bike sounded terrible when I rode it. O was going to bring it to a shop for preventative care. This little bottle saved me the trip and rhe expense.

Cleaned and lubricated my chain without leaving an oily messs. My shifts are smoother too.
