Does a great job on John Deere lawn tractor plastic hood
I bought this kit some time ago with plans to use it and it sat on a shelf for months. Yesterday I started using to repair John Deere lawn tractor plastic hood and I’m amazed how well it works and how easy it is to use. I wish I bought one years ago. Most of the repairs aren’t visible since reassembly but added two pics of still visible repairs. These hoods are notoriously difficult to repair and I wouldn’t attempt in the future without this amazing tool.

This is a must have tool!
I purchased this recently and my only question is; Why didn't I do this a long time ago. The price on this is very reasonable and they are so simple to use. They are awesome at fixing your broken plastics. So far everything I have repaired is holding like new. I would recommend looking at some Utube videos on how to best use this tool. i clean up the little tabs with my Dremel sander, then touch up and fill in areas with a soldering iron and black tie strap. It makes a very good looking repair that is good and strong. This is probably one of the most useful tools that I now own.

Worked very well, heats up fast cools down fast. That’s what you want. Used to repair ice bucket lid in fridge. Glued first to get straight and then put a couple wires in. Good or better than new.

This is probably one of the coolest tools I have ever bought. Used it to piece back together plastic outdoor furniture. It work perfectly.

This welder has been a lifesaver for me. I have repaired a battery-operated drill that had the base of the handle and battery compartment completely separated. That drill works like a champ again.

Good value for the money, versus replacing broken plastic
Easy to use, and the repairs are strong. You also get a nice variety and bunches of repair fixtures. I've repaired a couple of trash can lids that got split and broken somehow and after a couple of weeks there still together and this made the job easy
