Such a brilliant set of books!!! I've got the whole set now!!!! So useful for home or in the classroom! Clearly laid out without lots of pointless information or distractions! I would recommend to anyone!

This book is fantastic. I'm an experienced teacher and I am so excited to add this resource to my classroom, supporting KS2 children with their writing. It is so user friendly and will be easily accessed and navigated by the children in my class. It is much clearer and simpler to use than other books that can be used to help descriptive writing, and for a fraction of the price! The way the information is presented in categories is really useful, and there is not so much information that the pages risk being overwhelming. I would absolutely recommend this book to support descriptive writing in the classroom. Thank you Andrew Jennings!

This book is certainly well worth buying. It contains lots of ideas to encourage young writers and is set out in a really fun way.

Good book for supporting child in class.

I purchased several copies of this book for my classroom and quickly realised that I would need more as it is such a well-used resource. The children regularly refer to this and use it to gather ideas for their writing in the planning stages and also use it to enhance their writing during the editing process. I would recommend this book to any teacher or parent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book has been vital in developing the vocabulary and uplevelling the writing of the young people I teach - they have found it easy to use, engaging and appealing. It is a small book, but it is packed full of information, helpful hints and vocabulary. It is small enough to be friendly to kids, but still very useful. It is a permanent feature in our classroom, very highly recommended.

I bought this book to use as a tool for myself when lessson planning and to create model texts for my class. I found it very useful, clearly laid out and full of fab vocabulary and sentence structures. I shared it with my class and now quite a few of them have purchased their own copies and are independently using them to improve their own writing. A great (cheap!) resource. Very happy with my purchase.
