I was very pleasantly surprised with the high quality build on this Wurkkos FC11C. I was looking for a basic EDC light to go into my kit, and this light ticked off all the boxes. The button is very responsive, with easy mode selection and while the pocket clip isn't very deep, it is not a problem with in the pocket. The throw and strength of the beam is very good and offers the user with plenty of illumination for most basic tasks throughout the day. While certain lights may offer certain functions like heavy strobes or even blacklight UV capabilities, this light is more than enough for my needs. One of my favourite things about this FC11C is the magnetic cap, allowing you to attach or hang this light on any metal surface and go hands free when completeing tasks. Overall, this is a fantastic choice for an easy EDC carry, rechargable and robust light. 5 Stars all the way!

Wurkkos FC11 Flashlight Review Today I will be doing a capsule review of the Wurkkos FC11 rechargeable flashlight: a versatile 18650 powered flashlight with a pleasant tint and flexible but easy to use interface. This is an outstanding flashlight kit at a very reasonable price. With its many features, good battery capacity, pleasant beam (with excellent colour rendering) and good quality construction, it’s a great value with excellent performance. The light comes as a complete kit with rechargeable 18650 battery (3000 mAh capacity), slide-on pocket clip, spare o-rings, and a USB C charging cord, and a wrist strap. You do have to provide your own USB charger but if you own a cellphone you probably have a charger. Body and construction. - The light is about 116mm x 24mm, so it’s a pretty typical size for this type of flashlight. It fits well in the hand and can be conveniently carried in a coat pocket or medium size pants pocket (no slim fit jeans please!). - The light is very well finished with clean type 3 black anodizing and no surface flaws noted. There is a wavy pattern on the body that allows for improved grip. More traditional knurling would be grippier but this is reasonable and attractive. - The light has a flat tail that allows for tailstanding with the supplied strap. There is also a strong magnet in the tail that allows the light to be attached horizontally to a metal surface. - The USB C port is covered by a rubber cover that keeps water and dirt out. - The light is controlled by the electronic side switch. The switch is quiet and has an LED to indicate battery and charge status (green indicates a good battery level. Red indicates low battery, and flashing red indicates time to charge). - A slide-on clip is included. It’s reasonably firm but can rotate on the body. A bolt-on clip would be preferable but this one is strong enough for most average use. Modes and beam - The light can be operated in one of two modes. One can use stepped modes (2-50-300-700-1200 lumens) or continuous ramping mode from 2-1300 lumens. The stepped modes are reasonably well spaced (although I would prefer to lower the middle 300 lumen mode a touch) and ramp up from low. The ramped mode is bi-directional but is a bit fast for my taste. - I would prefer a lower low-mode (sub 1 lumen) though 2 lumens is suitable for most use. - A single click turns the light on and off (to the last memorized mode). Holding the button steps/ramps through the levels. There are shortcuts for moonlight (hold from off), turbo (double click at any time), or strobes (triple click). - The LED is a Samsung LH351D with a colour temperate of around 4000K, which is a slightly warm neutral tint. It’s a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI) LED which allows for excellent colour rendering. A light that comes with a neutral/high CRI LED is an exceptional feature. - The reflector provides a balanced beam with some throw and ample flood, but it’s more suited for medium to close range use. - The light can get quite hot during use on max/turbo, but there is a timed step down (90 seconds) to help control heat build up. In use - I really enjoyed using the light. It felt comfortable in the hand with good ergonomics, grippy body, and a responsive switch. - It was effective when used outside, offering some reach and plentiful flood for nearby objects. - It was good indoors also. The wide hotspot works well for most tasks indoors. - The beam tint and colour rendering are very good. - Battery life was good and the on-board charging makes it easy to top up the battery. Overall, I do think this is an excellent, feature-rich light that offers good battery life, useful modes, and excellent beam tint/colour rendering. Wurkkos could refine a few minor things to improve the light but it’s outstanding as is.

The Wurkkos FC11 is a great little budget friendly high CRI EDC flashlight. The design is clean and simple, with excellent quality anodizing and unique knurling that feels great in the hand. With this package you get built-in USB-C Charging, USB-C cable, high capacity 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery, magnetic tail (and it's a nice strong magnet), wrist lanyard, and a nice pocket clip...you just can't go wrong at this price point. As a flashlight enthusiast, I have tried/tested just about every flashlight in this class, and the FC11 is my most recommended for someone looking for a simple, compact, high quality, and durable flashlight. The LH351D emitter is efficient and bright, and renders colours very well due to the 90 CRI. This makes it a great work light for tasks that require good colour definition (ie electricians, mechanics etc). The user interface (UI) is simple and effective with both ramping (excellent smooth ramp) or stepped options. Perfect light to have around the house or in the glove box of your vehicle for emergencies.

Button stopped working. Flashlight was less than 7 months old and the button stopped working. Other than that, it’s a decent light. I’m not a big fan of where the button is, I preferred it on the opposite end of the light. Hard to find the button in the dark

Edit: Suddenly died after 3 months of light use. Original: Not a very long throw, but lots of light in a limited area. Controls are usable. Lasts long enough on a charge to be practical. If it was $20 cheaper, it would be a great value, and get more stars.
