Is this the same as barbacide

No. Barbicide is a general implement/surface disinfectant. This is more like cool care or clippercide, except you dip your blade instead of spraying. It contains lubricants as well as disinfectant, and helps to remove more hair lodged in your blades than a spray-on cleaner.

This is better. Andis blade wash is just that. This is also a sanitizer. I've used it for many years

Can you reuse the h42 once all the hair has been filtered Out?

You won't be able to filter out the hairs. Just put a little in the jar lid, run all your clippers in it, then ditch it and rinse the lid.
