HiMy laptop is a 10 year old Hp Elitebook 8470p . Recently I bought a SSD of 160GB . But it's not enough for me to work with. So I thought to buy a Caddy. I searched for 12.7 mm Caddy because my laptop has 12.7 mm space . Before I ordered a 12.7 mm caddy from different reseller in Amazon. But I got a 9.5 mm caddy . I'm very disappoint. So I returned and again searched in Amazon. Finally i found this and i ordered . It's 12.7 mm. I'm happy with it . Now i able to dual boot my laptop with Linux on HDD in caddy and windows 11 on SSD . Thanks for this Product

I was worried about is it going to fit in my Dell Inspiron n5110.And It got fit very well and working absolutely fine.

The product seems okay, i Haven't installed it yet. It's was the cheapest one. Now i see why,The external case that we use to cover the caddy is not given in this product so i guess i will have to use the old one from my laptop. I am only wondering if someone pushes the dvd caddy button by chance then it will take out the whole hard disk? Lol that would be disastrous!

Good compatibility and fit, quality is also fine.The only thing i have lroblem the cd head where opening cs button is present that cover doesnt fit properly

Mine 12.7mm slot, fitted my hdd as stated in the description.New caddy and perfect condition. Packing was decent.As of now, it’s working as intended, will update review if anything changes.Yes recommended, do check if you have the same slot size. Thank you.

The caddy and ssd connection having issue. the product is not expected as. I tried 2 hard disc to fit it but no one inserted in the caddy. I replaced the product once but after that also same problem occurs.Now I file the return request as no ssd or hdd fitting in caddy

It is working good, installed to my ASUS X55C and could find the data transfer rate is also good. Thanks to the seller
