JENOLITE Garage & Exterior Door Paint - Cobalt Blue - 1 Litre - Suitable for Metal & Wood Doors & Garage Doors (RAL 5013)

Covers really well, having a deeply stained wooden door for the last 10 years we decided to paint it and freshen up. First lightly sanded down and filled the small dents and scratches of age, then 2 coats of cheap white undercoat to start with, light sanding again and left for 2 days to dry. First coat of Jenolite went on easily with a brush and covered very well, sanded down again with a sanding mouse to flatten the imperfections, second coat was using a brush around the beading and small foam roller on the flat, do not over brush as it dries quickly, left for a day and a 3rd light coating to give a smooth flat finish and left it overnight, brassware fitted and all finished. The paint goes on easily and dries very quickly, good coverage as I used less than a 1/4 of the tin for 3 coats, finish it satin/Matt with no brush marks, colour darkens slightly as it dries, nice overall appearance, recommend to all for lovely transformation of our old boring front door.

Brilliant paint, we used just under two tins of this to paint our new shed doors and the results are fantastic. The paint is quite thick and has good coverage from the first coat. Worth the price for a good quality paint, and we hope our doors will be looking good for years to come!

Great paint, leaves a lovely finish. We used it on a composite door which suffered UV damage. Only downside, if anything, is that the colour dried to a slightly lighter shade than expected so if you're matching a mahogany surround, you'll need a different colour.

I purchased this product in the hope of smartening up our exterior composite door that was weather damaged from sun, wind, rain. After briefly sanding the door with a mouse sander and cleaning the door, the paint went on easily and smoothly. The finish is just amazingly good. The cobalt blue is deep and lustrous and the rain goes into droplets and falls off the door, as you can see in the pic. I am well pleased with the results I got and would recommend this product. I can't comment on durability as it was only used this week, but I have some confidence that it is going to last.

Used on wooden garage doors. The finish was disappointing. Perhaps because of a warm sunny day it dried too quickly. and shows brush marks, not a clean eggshell finish. Will probably need to apply another coat of this on a milder day or with another product. Otherwise, overs quite well an hopefully durability will be good.

One coat required. Really good and bright. Definitely recommend.
