Wax ring looked perfect for the toilet installation. However, the toilet I purchased came with its own wax ring, so I had to return this 1.

Sorry folks but I didn't get to take the picture of the process but here is how it all went... very simple package with the Heavy wax ring and the hardware... Unfortunately it doesn't give you instructions of how to put the spacers, washers, and everything that came with it. Even the videos provided by the product, doesn't really show you what goes where. I thought i bought the biggest wax ring for the job, well I didn't count on about the difference of a small round toilet bowl vs a larger one... lmfao smdh! well because the bathroom tile was graded, I didn't notice till it was too late, the bowl was tighten down as much as it could and still rocked back and forth. oh I made sure I laid it on there correctly but I didn't imagine that even tightening it so much the spacers even crushed out.... I started to tighten till it was tight enough after standing on the toilet bowl for about 3 minutes, then tighten it to like what I had said. Well bowl rocked back and forth and moved side to side, so i aligned it back and tighten some more and kept on testing and tightening it and testing... well still rocked and moved.... then I noticed as I tilted it back side that the front had a gap about an 1/8" gap +/-. ouch.... grrrrrrr so i stopped left the project and bought a bigger bigger ring and waiting on that. So folks, please don't be like me and don't do your research first.... make sure your new toilet is able to be flushed and stable for one, two then order the ring you need... bigger is always better lol. oh and if you do buy this, the hardware as follows: bolt goes into the slot of the flange, use the grey type of cup spacer that goes on the bolt but make sure the cup or round end goes up, then I ended up putting the white small plastic spacer and the rubber spacer. I did that for both sides before putting the toilet onto the bolts. Then I put the rubber first on the top side of the bowl then the small white spacer after. I put the white plate that fits over the small spacers and used the metal washer on top of that... well I bet any much i'm doing this all wrong lol and should of done more research cause after all that... I crushed the rubber, the adapter plate and everything. needless to say, I wanted everyone to get the suspense that everything went alright but oh hell nah it didnt for one so next time do more research on how to use their hardware and if anything... don't get frustrated, learn how to call the plumber. good wax ring replacement and the hardware that comes with it is strong and heavy duty. I like the large and deep bolt caps. I didn't even have to cut the bolts. I recommend purchasing this wax ring.

Worked well. There was enough wax to make a good seal -- judging by feel, as the wax made contact with the floor when the toilet base was maybe 3/4" off the floor. Hardware was decent. I'm not a plumber and have only installed a couple toilets but this seems to be good quality. I checked out others before settling on this one.
