Command strips make this thing awesome
I wanted to use this in my shower so I followed other reviewers' recommendations and removed the adhesive that came with the mounting hardware. I took it off using a spackling knife and Goo Gone. I then wiped it down with rubbing alcohol, and applied two Command strips to the back of each end. Be sure to use the "water" style Command strips since they're made for humidity. I live in Florida and was worried that this thing wouldn't hold because our humidity is so high. It has been a month since I mounted it and it is holding strong. I don't see any loosening of the command strips. I wouldn't put heavy items on it like shampoo bottles, just light duty. You can see the tabs sticking out of the bottom where I applied the Command strips. That way if I need to remove it it is super easy and won't mess up my tile. The only thing I don't like is that it already had the 3M adhesive applied to the hardware when it arrived. It took a lot of time and effort for me to get that adhesive off and use my preferred adhesive. Sorry but I don't trust non-removable adhesive! I also think this is a very nice and stylish towel bar. It does not look cheap. It cost an extra $10 for me to buy the Command strips for it, that is my only complaint. ----Update Dec 2020---- It has now been 4 months since installing the towel bar and it hasn't budged. Still hanging strong and survived 4 months of Florida humidity! ----Update Dec 2023---- Still holding strong! ----Update Mar 2025---- Still there! We are selling the house now and keeping it in place because of how well it has held up in the bathroom.

Strong Adhesive and Sleek Design
This self-adhesive towel bar is very convenient to install—no drilling needed. The adhesive sticks firmly to smooth surfaces and holds towels securely. The stainless steel finish looks modern and matches my bathroom well. Just make sure to clean and dry the wall before applying. Great option if you don’t want to drill holes.

Great towel rod
I bought this in February of this year. The adhesive is strong. I have it in my shower and even the water did not affect the adhesive. Some commenters spoke about after assembling the rod, it was wobbly, loose, and felt cheap. Easy fix! I put E6000 glue in the holes and then inserted the pole. I did not put any towels on the rod for a day or two or until it felt like it wasn’t moving around anymore. Now, it doesn’t move at all and feels even stronger and sturdier with the glue.

Not a tight fit and may fall off
The bar wiggles a bit and makes it feel kind of cheap. It's a little loose. I bought two at the same time, so for the second one, I had to turn the end at a slight angle as to kind of jam it in place, so it wouldn't move. You can see in the picture that is not straight/lined up with the shower door. Also, the bar is three pieces that screw together, which I think also makes it seem cheap. You can't really see the seams though. It seems strong enough, and for the price, I'm keeping them. Update: I bought another one and the adhesive doesn't stick completely, exchanged for another one, that one fell off completely, got another one and it still won't fully stick. It's holding up but I am afraid to put any weight on it. It won't hold, and I have a feeling it will fall off eventually. Added new photos. Luckily I can see through the glass and know it's not fully stuck to the glass. Others might not be able to tell until it's too late and past the return window. Don't take the chance that one out of five will be good. Buyer beware.

Would not buy
It does stick out far enough from the wall so it hard to get a towel on it.

Perfect Blend of Strength and Elegance
I recently remodeled my bathrooms and was in search of a towel holder that would be sturdy enough for my husband to hang his towel daily (and trust me, he's not delicate), but at the same time, I didn't want to damage the newly installed tiles by drilling holes into the walls. Additionally, I wanted the towel holder to have an elegant appearance. This product exceeded all my expectations. It has been installed for about a month now, and I absolutely love it. The towel holder has a sleek and refined look. It was incredibly easy to install, and my husband uses it daily with heavy towels. So far, it has been functioning perfectly. I am thrilled that this towel holder has successfully met all my requirements. It combines strength, practicality, and aesthetics, making it the ideal solution for my bathroom. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Long lasting adhesive, very attractive.
The adhesive on these last for years. I bought two in 2016 and put them on my shower door to hold a face towel and a standard large towel. The lower one fell off only because some in my family insisted on grabbing it to open the door. I took off the old adhesive on the one that fell and replaced it with heavy duty double sided adhesive pads. Works great. I put the one I ordered here on the lower portion of the door to my bathroom and another in the kitchen to hold dish towels. These are great. Just follow the instructions. If you need to take them down, a blow dryer works fine.

Great until it wasn't
Looks great, was easy to set up, held towels-- does exactly what it says it will do.... However I came home yesterday and the rack has fallen off the wall after being totally fine for almost a year!. I guess after being exposed to steamy showers for a year the adhesive finally wore down? I rent, so the fact that this isn't permanent is a plus, but I'd like to be able to remove it on my terms. My main issue now is that I just want to get new adhesive to put the bar back up, but there is no way to reach out to some kind of customer service, in fact I don't think this company has customer service at all so it seems... MAYBE THEY WILL SEE THIS- HALP! I just want to reinstall the bar with new glue without needing to buy a whole new unit just for the sticky part.
