EVGA X17 Gaming Mouse, Wired, Grey, Customizable, 16,000 DPI, 5 Profiles, 10 Buttons, Ergonomic 903-W1-17GR-KR

Fantastic mouse for the price - literally fantastic find. Build quality, surface textures, weight and design - everything about this mouse looks high end. I don't understand at all how these have not gotten more attention (but glad they haven't - haha). Cord is even a very nice braided one (and I have the wireless version as well - equally great). Would take this over the Logitech G502 x1000 I do miss that slightly velvety texture my Death Adder and Mionix had (but then, that finish is never that durable either - so not really a bad thing that the EVGA doesn't have it) and the EVGA's plastic does have a nice micro-texture to it (reminds me of high end pbt keycaps tbh) and some really sturdy rubber grips that make the mouse a joy to use - and the EVGA's shape is even more comfortable in hand (much more so than the G502, and even more than my older Mionix (or Death Adder).

I bought this mouse for my work because I'm at my desk most of the day and wanted a gaming mouse for the ergonomics and extra functions. I have a gaming mouse at home and love the feel. This mouse is super comfortable and functional! I saw in the reviews that the scroll wheel was flimsy. I say it has a little give, but that's because you can move it side to side to to scroll to the side, which I like. For the price, I like it! Let's see how long it holds up!

I like this mouse, it fits my hand well, and does great things for both gaming and everyday applications. My only issue is that after 6 months, something in the mouse wheel wore out and just tonight it began to roll freely and not track. I use my computer daily and I game often. moving parts are the ones that get the wear and tear. Unfortunately I do need to buy a new mouse. For someone who isn't as hard on their peripherals as I am, this mouse does great.

Be prepared for all this... Would probably be a good idea to get yourself a bag of popcorn or some other snack for this lengthy readthrough, haha. So basically, this mouse arrives without the buttons bound to what you desire, and is set to 1000hz polling rate by default. The problem is that if you happen to have the latest Windows 10 Updates (that started deploying in like March or April 2021), the EVGA Unleash RGB X17/20 software does not work....at all...no matter what... This is due to the software not detecting the mouse on newer versions of Windows, as the mouse's firmware needs to be updated...via the software that isn't working... But once the mouse's firmware is updated, the system will then detect the mouse and the app will magically start working- no joke. But due to those newer builds of Windows having updated versions of Microsoft .NET Framework, you cannot easily get the app's Firmware Updater (in the "Program Files (x86)\EVGA\Unleash RGB\FWUpdate" folder to work... And it also won't automatically happen in the Unleash RGB x17/20 RGB software since the software won't launch.... So essentially, you have to have access to a dang computer that's running an older version of Windows 10 (or any other, older versions of Windows as they may potentially still work; I imagine this is due to those older Win10 builds having older versions of Microsoft .NET Framework built-in). Luckily enough, I had a spare laptop that was running a version of Windows 10 from about a year ago. I installed EVGA Unleash RGB X17/20 and it actually opened fine, without any issues! Just after opening, it instantly detected the mouse this time and immediately asked me to update the mouse's firmware. I did, and then waited for it to finish... After it was done, I changed it to 8,000hz polling rate, hit "Apply" and then "Save," and then unplugged the mouse and plugged it back into my primary PC. I used it to reinstall the EVGA Unleash RGB X17/20 software (as I had uninstalled it prior), and it this time the software opened immediately as it detected the mouse with the newer firmware installed. So all in all, the setup for this mouse was super dang annoying... But once I got it working- my god. It's fantastically good! I previously had a Logitech G502 for like...ever lol; but then switched to a Viper 8K.... But I really started missing the G502's design and so I snagged this EVGA X17 as it's shaped similarly and isn't ambidextrous like the Viper 8K. And man, do I love this freaking mouse now! 8,000hz Polling Rate; 7 extra buttons that can be changed to any key or recorded macros; beautiful exterior coloring (in the grey model, which is what I choose); three sensors in the bottom (I imagine for increased tracking with more accuracy); lightweight (that can also be made heavier with the included weight set); and a non-ambidextrous shape that feels better and more tangible in my right hand with my odd mouse grip lol. Overall, this mouse is AMAZING. BUT, it's only amazing WHEN YOU GET IT WORKING. If you're thinking about upgrading to an 8,000hz polling rate mouse, definitely snag this one if you're not used to an ambidextrous mouse. But aside from that, Razer mice also run this crazy software/services in the background of your computer at all times that waste a bit too many resources if you don't know how to close them out/stop them. So if you're into computer performance whilst gaming, then this EVGA mouse would definitely take the cake! Okay, wow... Sorry for writing so much... I hope this helps someone out in the future! When i foolishly bought this due to it being from EVGA i never expected such a low quality product in terms of performance. Scrolling with the mouse wheel is very annoying due to the fact the mouse cannot perform this task even remotely efficiently. When i scroll down i go up or down or stay at the same point originally. The same with scrolling up. Scrolling with the mouse wheel resulted in either a random direction or no scrolling taking place at all! In the end only using the keyboard would allow me to scroll. I cannot click and drag an item/folder because it will release said item/folder before i release the mouse button. Even worse the mouse will open up multiple instances of programs/documents or try to when i click to open them. Now some may think well maybe it's my setting but NO it is not because I installed old and new mice to try and trouble shoot these issues and none of them had these problems! This product is not worth the money for terrible aggravation it provides any user of it. Save your money and buy a cheaper 5 to 10 dollar gaming mouse it will work better.

It is easy to handle for gamers. It is a good choice.

The mouse was pretty good at first. But less than 6 months into owning it, the mouse wheel is completely shot. Scrolling up or down causes it to randomly scroll in any direction it wants. The only reason this isn't a one star review is that it was cheap enough that I think I got decent mileage out of it. So it works, but I wouldn't consider this a quality product in any way.

I’ve used many decently budgeted mice, nowadays this is still a solid option. I’ve only had one bug, possibly because my mouse plugs into my keyboard before the computer. It would randomly stop working, as if it unplugged and plugged back in briefly. Only when I first got it. Never had that problem with other mice. Still would recommend for a cheap but overall effective mouse. Also helped with wrist pain from my older, slightly less ergonomic Corsair mouse. Feels great in palm

持ち方にクセが強いです。 手が小さい自分には少し大きいかなぁと言った感じです。 自分には少々違和感がありますが、持ち方がハマれば、お勧めできるマウスだと思います。 個人的にはホイールティルトがついているのがポイント高いです。

Ich habe die Maus über Amazon.de in den USA bestellt. Abwicklung und Versand absolut korrekt und schnell. Die Maus ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Es werden nur hochwertige Materialien verwendet. Sie liegt sehr gut in der Hand und ist auch für kleinere Hände empfehlenswert. Einstellungsmöglichkeiten und Software sind super. Sowohl als Gaming Maus als auch für den normalen Gebrauch absolut empfehlenswert. EVGA hat nach der Gaming Maus Torq X10 hier wieder ein hochwertiges Produkt auf den Markt gebracht.

I like that it has added weights, I like that the colors are programable, that the keys are programable, that the mouse shape is "just right" for me, and the price was awesome too! I wish that there was another thumb button for when I move my thumb down to the mouse pad like my old mouse had, but, all in all, a great deal!

Producto de buen diseño se ve muy gamer, luces rgb configurables, se pueden configurar independientes las del scroll de las del resto para una mayor personalización. La sensibilidad es alta y configurable de acuerdo al uso, trae un boton de sniper para mayor precisión y otras opciones útilies que varian dependiendo del uso. El peso es configurable tambien ya que viene con unas pesas para ajustarlo. Recomendado.
