Bought these to use to stick down. My beach umbrella works really well. Once you screw into the sand, it’s not pulling up to easy you have to unscrew it to get it out.

I have two young apple trees that are starting to bend, so I wanted to straighten them back up with line and a stake. The dog tie out I was using before would pull out of the ground after a rain with the weight of the trees pulling on it. Once I got this, they held tight and have stayed put for months. Nice ground anchor and easy to screw into the ground!

If you have been looking for the absolute the best ground anchor for tents/tarps/pets/children/awnings/rafts/horses, look no farther. As a background, I’ve spent years camping throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons as a commercial river guide, both here in the US and across the globe, and one of the major headaches is not being able to secure the guests tents and/or the group rain/shade tarps because of weak stakes that bend or pull out. After trying the MSR groundhog stakes, steel horse anchors, and every variation of the ground stake thereof, I purchased this screw because a friend who knows my frustrations recommended I try it as it worked for them. Simply said, this is the best ground stake imaginable. It works in every soil type I have found other than solid rock and cannot be pulled out (you have to unscrew it from the ground). I have screwed it into rocky soil when literally every other tent stake other people were using bent rather than go into the ground. I’ve also had it hold in 50+ MPH wind when the nylon tarp tore in half (It was not that windy when the tarp was set up the night before). I don’t review many things on amazon as I’m often underwhelmed by their real-world performance. The orange screw, however, is everything it claims. I now own 4 of the large and 8 small and I cannot recommend them enough. You will not suffer bent tent stakes or have the situation where a stake pulls out. These are amazing. Buy more than you think as you will find a use for them.

In beach sand to hold down a shelter or an unbrella it’s amazing how strong it is ! The clear tube is nice to hold it when not in use and also keeps the tip from poking you, also funneling as a handle to screw in to the dense more packed ground its a very well thought about product !! I have 4 total and it’s really amazing . They don’t pull out in sand and hold really well ! I also used in inside of grass and wow it will hold what ever you can send it’s way . GreT to take with u when the dog needs to be tired up for a bit and there are not any anchors near by ! Highly recommend Only cons: plastic pipe that comes with is not very strong and could be built a little bit better

Will work great on normal soil but west texas ground ya it isnt the one for hard dirt

I carry this on my jet ski to moor my jet ski when we stop at islands on our lake. It screws into the sandy shore easily and holds the jet ski even with stronger currents. It's very light and compact, taking up little space in my storage compartment. A must for any jet ski.

These probably work in some sort of soil, hard ground is not it. The small ones break and the large ones displace more soil and work less well than the small ones. They do seem slightly tougher though. Replaced with a set of tent stakes that look like a 8” long lag screw for wood. Much better, and cheaper.

Definitely does the work. Strong and sturdy build. It is very pointy so be careful when handling.

Installed this in backyard in combination with a 25 foot tether. It’s stood the force of a 1 year old dog who is 55 pounds running around and pulled at it. Would highly recommend this product.

Good product all around. Sticks out being orange so I work around it with my lawn mower.

Very sturdy, will work for smaller jobs. Tried to use a couple to hold a leaning shrub, not bad. Won’t work on a bigger shrub or in loose dirt or sand
