Fantastic results with my goretex riding gear.

I was hoping for great things, but I's no better than any other wash in DWR. It also looks exactly like Grangers or Nikwax. Which makes you think it's all made in the same factory, and put in different bottles. The first time out in torrential rain and high winds, I got back very wet. I'm not expecting miracles but...... Not sure about the soap either.

So I have several motorbike jackets and this double pack states its a wash and waterproof in the same wash. You put the wash into the dispenser and the waterproofer into the fabric conditioner tray. Also i fully did a hot wash cycle to ensure the machine was free from detergent. I have used Nikwax before taking two cycles and thought this would be better. So I have found that the wash itself did not clean the coat as well as Nikwax. Definite negative point. (Its not that it was dirty) just not as clean as normal and some bits left that normally are cleaned.... It does seem to repel the water but not yet been outt in hard rain. Also no better than Nikwax so for me its more expensive and not as good,

I was dissapointed with result of cleaning, but once you commit your precious gear to the washing machine you are locked into the process as is any dirty marks or stains as proofing is great, water of a ducks back!!
