I bought another type of tactical pen which wasn't sturdy and didn't seem like it would help if I needed it for safety and ended up returning it. I saw these and bought them. Love that they come 2 to a pack. They are very heavy-duty and feel good while writing as a pen. The pen writes nicely and it is comfortable to use. Love that it comes with extra ink. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a pen and little protection. Great for women to carry in their purses.

This pen is up to par and completely on point. I don't see no flaws nor complaints. Yes, it can write like a regular pen but if you find yourself in a situation where you need to bust out your car window to survive an unexpected event, then you must definitely need this in your possession. This pen is also good for self defense too.This pen would be a great Christmas gift, birthday gift, or even, graduation gift.You can always keep one in your car, always keep one in your pocket or purse, and have one randomly placed for easy grab.This is a must have.

The pen itself is a good pen, the clip could have been made from a stronger material though and the ink cartridge could have been a finer tip. I fill out forms with some thin entry areas and a finer tip would have came in handy. As soon as I find a refill that works, I will update this review with that information.

I looked at several tactical pens. I like this one because it is very strong, yet light. It has an excellent grip, plus uses the Fisher Space Pen cartridge, so you can write on any angle-even upside down, and is always ready to write. Simple, solid, and dependable all at a good price. I have one in my car and 1 in my pocket.

Just received my 2 pack of tungsten steel Military defensive pen with 5 spare ink cartridges. The pen writes very well and the clip holds the pen when not in use in my pocket. I jammed the point into some really hard wood several times and the point is still sharp with no noticeable damage to point. The wood had nice little holes in it. I like a pen that writes when I pick it up and the size of the barrel is just right for me. All in all the pens are a good value with extra writing cartridges to boot.

UPDATE 9/26/21 DO NOT BUY IF YOURE A FIRST RESPONDER TO USE THIS AS A BACKUP GLASS BREAKER. Not really tungsten. This also goes for people who bought these pens as an emergency glass breaker.After talking apart the pen to clean off the leaked ink, I got curious about the claimed tungsten penetrator tip. I took cone shaped end the piece it was mounted to and place it on a granite truing slab and struck the tip with a steel meat tenderizer mallet. As you can see the supposed TUNGSTEN penetrator flattened out! Additionally the tip got pushed into the mounted. This would absorb some of the striking force needed to shatter glass.2 for 1 price was what got me.This metal bodied pen feels way sturdier than plastic pens out there. It came TWO to a pack with 5 more spare refills. One pen was very much intact while the other was totally wrecked. Im trying to clean out the gummy dried ink with some hot water and dish soap. Simply putting a fresh cartridge would jam up the mechanism further. The included refills were in black ink. Some were in the process of leaking themselves when the plastic tip covers came off in transit.I rated only 3 stars due to the leakage. I still dont know if I can recover the sludged up pen.
