Varsity Disposable Fountain Pens, Black Ink (90010), Pack of 6

These are great little fountain pens. Like all good ones they flow over the page, which makes them fun to write with. Best, the cap fits so tightly they (1) don’t leak in your pocket, and (2) they don’t dry out - really. I lost one behind my desk for two years ago. When I tried it, it wrote like new. I bought 1/2 a dozen immediately, because they are fun, reliable and inexpensive as ball points. And folks don't steal them because they don’t understand what they are :).

Fantastic product pilot fountain pen

My artistic guy has decided to temporarily put aside his photography obsession to return to his drawing roots. He has good memories of using fountain pens, but not of having the messy problems that they had way back when he was in school. As usual, he researched the current fountain pens, and was pleased to see that there's an affordable choice to experiment with, while still getting a quality pen with the Pilot brand reliability. He found these pens to be exactly what he wanted, with a smooth ink flow, ease of use, and a very comfortable design. Best of all, he's enjoying the feel of creating artwork with his hands alone, and will definitely buy these pens again.

These are great. They manage the flow of the ink well, dry nicely, and do not leak. They are also lightweight with tight caps. It’s a shame it took me so long to find them.

Easy to use, pre filled, great for first time fountain pen users. The writing experience is different & enjoyable enough from a ball point or gel ink pen to give newer users an inexpensive introduction to the world of fountain pens. I also feel it is of medium enough quality, that you can have a similar experience improvement when upgrading to a refillable type pen.
