Good product. Highly recommend if you are in the market for such a thing.
I am using this in the CD Slot of my Ford Freestyle 2007. First off, I should state my Ford CD player skips like there is no tomorrow. So I am NOT trying to load a CD while it is inserted. At first I had a problem inserting the slot mechanism. I took a moment and figured out how best to insert it. The tightening mechanisms work well enough for my tablet, a 7 inch Samsung A something or other with it's protective case. I spent a minute making sure there was enough tension on the locks. I haven't tighten them since. It holds my tablet at the angle that I want it. I don't leave the tablet in the car though. I take the tablet out after driving for charging etc. I can move the tablet around, e.g. to share the display with the passengar. All and all, it is good product that does what it describes (at least for my car).

Great Idea
This mount does the job. The quality is great, the size was just right and it fit snug into the CD Player opening. It wasnt expensive at all. There was hardly any installation and it held up well very sturdy. The only problem that I encountered with tgis is that it wouod sometimes wiggle its way out of the CD opening even when Tightened.Outside if that its a great proud my 12.1 fits in perfectly.

Very Sturdy
I have tried just about every holder (dash, vent, rearview - clip and adhesive) and all of them would not hold my phone/would hinder visability. I have an lgV60 Dual screen. It is big and hefty. This works perfectly. Doesn't wobble and I'm able to use my magnetic charger in the vertical position. I thought I would try this holder as it was advertized for either a phone or tablet so I figured it could handle the weight of my phone. It does! The only thing I wish it had was more of a degree of tilt (to the left) and the ability to raise or lower the phone. It is a bit tight in the vertical position in relation to my cd player and the gear shift but not so bad that I can't shift.

Perfect for my iPad Pro 12.9
I don’t use my cd player so this seemed like a great option. Setup was super easy. This mount holds even such a large iPad very securely. I couldn’t ask for any more and the price is huge bonus.

Will only work in CD player which is totally flat, leaving out many vehicles.
I have tried this in 5 vehicles so far today. It fits none of them. What the vehicles have in common is a curve to the CD slot and being recessed slightly into the dash beneath a protruding trim piece, or knobs projecting slightly beyond and below the CD slot. Unless the CD player slot opening in a vehicle is is totally flat side-to-side, and also has no trim pieces or knobs extending out beyond the opening to the CD slot, this mount absolutely will not work. Maybe it will fit some single DIN radio/CD combo units from the early days of CD players, but most car makers have their own integrated designs these days - if they include a CD player at all.

Cheap Material At A Cheap Price!
Recently switched to a ZFold3 (and all my android fam know it's a banger!). Needed a mount and looked around Amz. This will do the trick if your car's got a CD slot. Material is lightweigh plastic and has a fat China branding right in the center that will be covered when your phone is there, but what happens when your phones off? I'm thinking about Sharpie-ing that ugly branding away. How does this hold? It's a tight hold on your device, but I haven't tried it on heavier products like an iPad or something. For the parts holding down the mount, I don't recommend turning anything too tight. I'm afraid it may crack the cheap plastic parts.I'm not looking to spend big bucks on a mount. If you want to, I'm sure you can find some that are overpriced and probably with better quality. It is fine. 3 stars.
