28 Piece Transfer Punch Set

Exactly what I needed. No issues

The transfer punch i needed out of this set, the 1/8" punch, did exactly what I needed it to do. I'm very impressed by all of the sizes that come in this set and its holding rack. Sits well on my tool bench.

Nice punch set. Good to have on hand when you need to transfer center marks between holes. Stop guessing, spend the money, the project is worth it.

The set works well, the one I received however had a 1/8 inch punch missing.. not a big deal for me though.

The shipping package was demolished by the hurricane. The product got very wet. However, the item survived quite well and will be very useful. I did find the lettering used to designate the size of each drill to be very faint and hard to read. Still a value for the money.

Well, as they say... "you get what you pay for". These were very cheap compared to American made versions and it shows. The very first use I had with one it fell tip first, a very short distance, about 3 feet onto a concrete floor and blunted the tip considerably. These are not hardened very much and will dull much quicker then say a more expensive American made version. That being said they are about 1/5th the price so as I stated before you pay less you get less. As long as you don't drop them and only hit them about 1/4 as hard as you'd hit a center punch they will most likely last you years, maybe 3 tops if you use them gently just enough to make a mark visible for your center punch. This is assuming your using them on metal like steel. If you use them on softer objects like wood especially, they'll last much longer, but I'd still not hit them very hard. If you'd use these every day all day long, don't skimp and buy American made so you know they'll be hardened properly. The tips truly are quite soft. Also don't drop them tip down lol... duh.

Tip isn't centered on the smaller diameter punches, which pretty much defeats the purpose of owning so many intervals. Expect off-centered drill holes, can't use for the precision I needed.
