Clay

I have thick hair that can struggle to stay in place, but this clay does a great job. My current style is relatively short; I’m not sure this is the product for you if you have longer hair or are aiming for a ‘glow’. It’s a ‘gritty’ clay with a very matte finish - it does take a bit of working in the hands to warm it up a bit, but I find it applies easiliy. In terms of comparable products, it’s not dissimilar to Kevin Murphy Rough Rider or Triumph and Disaster Coltrane Clay. It has a nice scent which is not too strong, so it won’t overpower or clash with any fragrance. It washes out easily with shampoo if you want totally clean hair, although I usually wash every couple of days and reapply a proportionally smaller amount of product in between washes. The hold lasts all day. It’s a premium product with good ingredients which is reflected in the price, but I’ve found it does what it says it will do unlike some other, cheaper products that turn my hair greasy-looking as the day goes on, and you do only need a small amount so a pot will last a decent amount of time.

This stuff is very good. But is so tough it takes work to rub in and will even take some hair with it if you’re not careful! That said….excellent all-day hold. Washes out easily.

Honestly worst hair wax I’ve tried after my old one discontinued. If you have longer or thicker hair AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not good for messy looks and on top of this. Makes ur hair look like you havnt dried it properly
