Cat's Cookbook: A Lift-the-flap Story (Tales From Acorn Wood, 5)

This entire series is perfect for younger children. My little boy struggles with his speech so the fact that the stories are short, are about animals he loves and rhyming, are really gripping for him. Also, what child doesn’t love a lift the flap book!

I really like these books - buy them for my small nieces. They are colourful, entertaining, short and rhyming with lovely illustrations and occasional ‘flaps’ for little fingers to explore. They are made of sturdy cardboard paper and are easy to clean.

You can also wipe them clean easily!I brought the whole collection of the books but I think this one is my favourite- the only downside is they’re annoyingly catchy and memorable so I end up wandering round saying the words which really just sums up maternity leave life lol!

Our 18 month old grandchild lives in USA and absolutely loves all six of the books in the “Tales From Acorn Wood” we posted. These books are well made, brightly coloured and have sturdy windows our grandson can open.We highly recommend this one as his favourite.

I absolutely love the acorn story books my 22month toddler loves reading it , lifting flaps and interacting in the beautiful illustrations. Cats cookbook is a lovely simple story for young children, and I love fact its based around going to a library and finding books. Only tiny personal thing is one of pages in the book is dinosaurs (banned in my household) and the cat makes macaroni cheese ( also a no no in my household). Other topics of books mentioned in the story is vampire bats and a queen. I personally would have picked other stuff to make the story

My boy loved this whole series. Great price and delivered prime. We have 1 book left to get in the set he just adores them!
