My skin does look a lot more radiant, bright and pretty. I also like that there is no down time. So, I can do a peel once a week. For that, I will give it a four star rating and recommend it on that basis. However, it's not a good investment for getting rid of deep scars and blemishes. My blemishes are slowly (very slowly) looking better, but they are still there. So, I will be buying a stronger peel with visible peeling in the near future. I'll probably continue to use this once my blemishes are gone because it does make my skin glow.

i did everything correctly and this peel gave me burns (which thank god i can heal burns by myself and immediately put moisture on it or else i would be scarred!!) but ya i immediately had to put aloe vera on it and i couldn’t get it to stop stinging for a solid 3 hours.... i did everything right and still got terrible burns!!! i do not recommend (in pic i have vaseline all over my burns)

I'm African American with stubborn acne that has not clear up for almost 2 years. I purchased this peel 3 weeks ago to deal with my acne and acne scars. My skin has been acting out for almost 12 years now depending on where I go, but it has never been as bad as it got 4 or 5 years ago. I have had stubborn acne and scars left behind to remind me of it. When I bought this peel, I just wanted to try something that does not have salicylic acid since I'm allergic to it. It has taken me a few weeks to apply the peel due to dermabrasion sessions I have been receiving every week. I applied the Vitamin C & Kojic Acid Chemical Peel this past Friday and followed the included instructions. I neutralized the peel after 3 minutes and then washed my face after the neutralizer stopped foaming as stated in the instructions. Now, I was told by a Retin Glow agent that this is a mild peel that many of their customers use multiple times in a month because it is not so strong to produce a peel. Let me tell you what my experience was. Friday my skin felt very raw and I couldn't move my face. Smiling was painful. I knew that I was going to peel. Saturday I noticed that the few breakouts that I had were scabs now (YAY!) but I still had to make sure my skin had moisture. Sunday my scabs were peeling as well as the bottom of my lower lips all the way to my chin. (I was shocked but in a good way). I also noticed that some parts of my face looked like I had a sunburn. Today is Monday and I'm still peeling mildly but I was able to go to work with no makeup. I can't wait to try the peel again after I have let my skin rest. But so far I like what I have seen. If this peel will help dry my breakouts, then I will use it again and again.

Strong enough to give you a mild resurfacing glow. I like that it comes with a neutralizer and is infused with vitamin C.
