A must have For your SA/CA Cichlids, Seachem tested Oscar approved!
For 30 years been keeping tanks and like I have said numerous other reviews when it comes to Seachem products, they are the best you can get! Unlike the African Cichlids who thrive in hard acidic water requiring Seachem African Rift Salt, the SA/CA/s while they can adjust however they really will not thrive! I always use this in my 220 gallon SA/CA Cichlid tank during my Monthly 75% Water change. Keeping SA's &CA's together has not proven a problem even when dosing the Salt, I simply go in-between the 2 species as directed, I also add Seachem Cichlid Trace for the entire tank every 2 weeks in all my tanks (there is no difference in the Trace elements per Seachem} I always have thriving healthy fish! Yes it can cause warming of the skin if you should get some on you, If you are using R/O or DI water this is a must have! For those who give 1 star for how the package was shipped! That is neither a actual product review or helpful! for the record there are no seals on salts, yes Amazon should do a better job at Packing & Shipping that is really a issue for there customer service not in a review!

It dissolves very fast
This product dissolves very quickly. When using RO or Distilled water it is necessary to add minerals back and I feel this product does so effectively. Dosing with small aquariums may be a little tough because you may need to measure 1/4 or 1/8 of a teaspoon. Anyway my South American Cichlids seem happy.

I bet it's good but I cant use the measurements correctly. I have all the cichlid fish. All different measurements.

Be careful opening package
The cap was off the seal was broken. Salt was all over the package. When I opened it up I got a mouthful taste of cichlid salt. Overall a great product

It seems good
Love this for all my cichlid tanks. But… I’ve been using it for my flowerhorn tank and my other American cichlid tank for years and don’t notice too much of a difference. But they seem happy and healthy so 🤷🏻♀️
