After doing some research, I decided to purchase this for myself as it contains no alcohol, but still provides the benefits that flower essences offer. I have struggled with anxiety, PTSD and fear my whole life. I'm on some great medications, but when perimenopause hit, the anxiety and fear took over. Brain fog became a real problem as well. I'm very proactive about my mental health, and have tried meditation, yoga, daily walks, cognitive behavioral therapy and a slew of other coping mechanisms. I even quit smoking cigarettes, but it was like my brain was "stuck" in a fearful mode and no matter what I did, I couldn't break free. It's been hell. I spent so much of my time wrestling with the panic, anxiety and fear that I was unable to enjoy life. My faith is strong, and I prayed to find a solution. I feel that the Rescue Remedy is most definitely the answer to my prayers. I tried Rock Rose and Cherry Plum initially, and they did help. But the Rescue Remedy helps even more. It's helped me finally break free of whatever mental block I had which kept my mind and emotions in a vicious cycle of fear and anxiety. The effects are very mild, yet powerful. Instantaneous relief and free of side effects. After only a few days of taking the Rescue Remedy, the constant, low-grade fear and anxiety is gone and as a result, I am back to my cheerful, witty, happy self. I can track conversations better, I am more outgoing and comfortable around people and my zest for life is coming back. In addition, this product greatly helps my senior cat, whose been exhibiting some signs of stress lately. He was pacing around the apartment, vocalizing loudly and acting agitated. I knew he wasn't suffering from a physical problem, so I started him on the Rescue Remedy. Within moments, he became calm, relaxed, playful and serene. The yowling has stopped, his appetite has increased and he's just much happier in general. I also tried this product on my 10-year old cat, who gets very upset when he sees stray cats outside. He too, was pacing, meowing and acting anxious. Same result-a happier, calm, content kitty. I can't recommend this product enough, for either humans or animal friends who need help coping with the debilitating effects of anxiety and fear!

Great help for calming one cat who kept picking fights. Just a drop in the am put in a small amount of food. Does not make him sleepy but he pretty much stopped picking on second cat == not totally but ninety percent is a win.

Great to have on hand for any animal. Relieves their stress and it is safe.

I'm only giving it 3 stars bc it's as described and shown in the picture. Been using it for 2-3wks now on a 8lb Pomerian/Chihuahua mix with an extremely high level of separation anxiety. So far absolutely no results. I leave for work and watch her panic and destroy my home.

My dog's love the taste. My puppy is convinced it's a treat. I use it mostly for travel so they're calm in the car or on the plane. I also use it for kennel training and separation anxiety. By the time it wears off the situation that upsets them is usually over. The effective time isn't very predictable but the effects usually range from mellow pups to knocked out pups.

Ok, this is going to be lengthy, however, my intent is to provide relief for Cats and their owners! A month ago, I was at a total loss in regards to my Cat's anxiety. I went to our vet, and had decided to put Dexter on Kitty Prozac. I was only trying to improve his quality of life. Dexter had gotten to a point where he was so stressed out by any loud noise, and/or visitors, and increasingly by my live-in boyfriend, that he was starting to use our guest bed as a litter box - daily. He would hiss at my boyfriend and run away any time he walked by. It was just horrible for everyone, especially Dexter. I soooo did not want to give him prozac, so someone suggested Rescue Remedy for Pets. I was oh so hopeful, as it's all natural, and sounded like a safer option. About a month ago, I started a ritual with Dexter, where I have him drink his "Special Water" from a small ceramic dish (containing 4 drops of the Rescue Remedy), each morning and night. I kid you not, he immediately changed behavior. He stopped using our guest bed as a litter box. Unbelievably, he jumps up onto my boyfriends lap when we are watching T.V., or when my boyfriend is sitting in our office. He just purrs and purrs when my boyfriend pets him. Never in a million years did I think this was possible!!! So, for anyone who has a kitty with that kind of anxiety, and behavioral issues, I can't recommend Rescue Remedy enough!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, the bottle of prozac still sits there unopened, and Dex is MUCH more relaxed and social - game changer :)

Was looking for a calming solution for our rabbits forwhen we travel. It seemed to help but had hard time deciding on how much to give to such a small animal as it doesn't say dosage per weight as it's go to cats to horses and says maximum is five drops. But comes with it's own dropper which is easy to administer.

My 15lb dog suddenly developed a fear of going outside in our yard, and this product helped him get through this difficult time. It was because his hearing was nearly nonexistent and his eyesight wasn't great either. Once I figured it out I was able to help him adjust, but this helped him adjust as well and was a valuable tool.
