Wonderful Addition to a Great Series!!
Lynsay Sands has done it again!! I recently reread the whole series and was so upset I had to wait two weeks for this release. I read through the series faster than I meant to. I love this new branch of family, I do wish there had been a little more of an interaction with some of the OG characters. Maybe Marguerite could put out a Holiday newsletter to everyone so we mean fans could see what's happening with all our favorites! As for this book, loved the humor and emotion throughout the story, it's a fast read because it's well written. Love the character development. I just wish the book was longer, I would love more detail, like why was there no mention of Marguerite's new baby? Oh well, hopefully in the next book on April.

Mile High With a Vampire
This book is Quinn's story. She is flying back to Canada from Italy in one of the Argeneau private jets when an explosion occurs causing a lot of damage and losing two other immortals who were sucked out a big hole in the jet. When the pilot maneuvers the plane to minimize more damage he is killed instantly but saved the life of his mortal co-pilot Jet. Now with wounded immortals who need blood and Jet the only mortal, it is up to Quinn to get him out of the jungle and call for help from Lucian Argeneau and his team. Little do they know they were set up to meet on the plane because Marguerite realized they were life mates. When inspection reveals two bombs had been planted in the engines of the plane the real task is to find out who was the intended target and why. This book was so exciting and intense. I loved it.

confused...
I have read all the books in this series. This was not a bad read it most of the elements that make her books so entertaining. There was humor but alot of slow parts with way too much dialogue thAt didn't feel as seemless to the story. She has ptsd so they are important scenes just maybe a little less? And though we see Jet in action we dont get in his head as much and i feel a misses opportunity. So ok.. she-pires is hilarious. But what happened to continuity?I read another readers comments about Lissa , whom they have barely mentioned in the books, and how she had fainting issues like Quinn but do not even acknowledge it. And then Margeruite was there but there was literally no talk of her pregnancy . But its hard to know where this book fits in the timeline specifically. And fire and decapataion. Does no one remember that the first book truly, Entienne was a "crispy critter"? and no where was it mentioned immortals were flammable and how is it suddenly common knowledge if yiu get decapitated you can still survive ? I wouldn't think that would be a trade secret considering they only recently learned that and they act if it was always known. And even non immortals know? Just curious for other opinions or if i missed something .

Fun Read!
Jet & Quinn's story gave me lots of good vibes! I'm not a fan of "wilderness" storylines, but the way that part of this story went was done well. Excitement and new lifemates learning about each other & Quinn learning she can be stronger than she thought. There is also a FANTASTIC amount of Lucian & I love him so much! He is so grumpy, but shows how much he cares, too. And he shows his respect for Quinn in some pretty cool ways.Jet is awesome & the suspense parts were really good! Humor, steam, love... A great balance & one of my faves in this series!!π

A sexy pilot, a gorgeous heroine, and ruthless killers on their trailβ¦ Whatβs not to like?
As usual, Lynsay Sands does not disappoint. Although I had read all 32 books in the series over the years prior to this book, I decided to re-read them all again (in succession) before reading this latest installment. Loved them again the second time around and Sands is definitely one of my favorite writers.I love the connection between all of the characters from book 1 to book 33. The tie-in between all the characters is fantastic and the plot lines never get stale or boring. They all seem fresh and exciting. My only complaint is that the books are not coming out fast enough for me to read them. I try to slow myself down, but itβs impossible once I get started.Eagerly awaiting the next book and my imagination is running wild thinking of all the possible plotlines and characters to come.Bring βem on!!!

Sheβs a real Jet setter
Books like this are why I fell in love with the Argeneau series! Right from the very first page, the author dropped us into the action and the story never slowed down from there. I love that Quinn suffers from the same fears and anxieties as the rest of us. And could Jet have been anymore of a better match for her? The two of them together make the perfect team, be it running from loco she-pires or abandoning ship to avoid the impending fireworks, these two connect on a level that brings them right to their HEA. This was a fantastic book and I canβt wait to see who finds the life-mate theyβve always dreamed of next.

Mile High with a Vampire is Lynsay Sands 33rd Argeneau novel and Quinn and Jet's story. We initially met Quinn and her son Parker in The Trouble with Vampires, which is her twin sister Pet's story (29), and I admit to not giving a lot of thought to Quinn after that... my mistake... Quinn seemed like the weak link in the twin department, but oh, how wrong I was. She and her son survived being violently turned by her husband and losing her brilliant career as a cardiothoracic surgeon! She may have suffered through disappointment and depression BUT she did not give up... she just needed a few years to regroup - Mile High with a Vampire is Quinn taking back her life, unlocking her past, and discovering the possibility of love. She just has to get through a plane crash, life mate dreams (those aren't so hard to endure, I'm sure), the reemergence of terrifying childhood memories, and if this wasn't enough... an immortal crime syndicate is prowling around. Fans of this series surely realized that Lynsay Sands couldn't leave Santo's sister-in-law a recluse!KrisWhiskey & Wit Book Reviews

I love reading these books. Read my first one that I found at a pool library in Mexico 5 years ago and then started finding some at the library. At our new location library is only a small room so no selection but then found them on Amazon. Now have bought 12 of them

The Argeneau Vampire series is usually a good read, I enjoyed reading about the family and their society policing. This story is about Quinn and Jet, Jet who became immortal
