Totally exceeded expectations! The fabric feels like old sheets washed in a fabric softener for years. I can already tell the quality of the fabric is going to stand up to wear and pets on bed, etc. But I love this duvet so much I ordered a backup so I don't live in fear of a spill that stains it and being unable to replace it when Laura Ashley discontinues it, as so often happens. Also adore the colors in this retro pattern. So pleasing and oh so soft!

This is a very pretty 100% cotton duvet cover, that washes well (wash on cold, dry on low heat). If you take it out of the dryer right away, it is comfortably unpressed-looking (not wrinkled), as cotton should be. The colours are soft and muted--a typically lovely Laura Ashley print. Very happy with this purchase.
