My astro cord with volume knob stopped working after about a month even shorter on the inline mixer that I can’t change the cord on. Headset is in perfect condition. Been buying these instead of Astro wires for years. They last the same time or longer than astros 15 dollar wires. They did increase the price by about 3 dollars since my last order but still cheaper than Astro for the same quality wires. I used to buy 5 at a time for about 25 dollars as back ups. All of the previous mentioned is still true however upon this time ordering 3 wires on July 5, instead received 2 eyelash extension kits and one headset wire. I am forced to send back all the items in order to get what should have been sent in the first place. I’m not paying shipping for the seller or amazons mistakes. Will no longer be purchasing from this seller.

I recently found out I just needed to replace the wire of my headset which is great i didn't have to drop like 60 for a new headset. The only down side is it doesn't have an adjustable volume on the wire so u have to manually do it on xbox or ps.

Maybe it’s just me but it was misleading that it doesn’t pick up the on ear microphone. Not a big deal if you have another mic on pc but could be an issue for console players. Sound is okay but wire looks very cheap.

Incompatible with TurtleBeach EarForce PX22 Amp, but still a solid cable for other uses (anything without small recessed jack). Will keep it as a spare for use with devices other than my TurtleBeach EarForce PX22 Amps.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't buy these. I know they are cheap but wow they break so fast. I bought one around late october and it broke early december. I was confused thinking maybe I was just careless with it so I bought another one in January and I was really careful with it and it broke even though I treated it with extreme care. The issue is that there is no protection for the wire where the jack meets, simple bending will cause it to slowly break the wire internally, if you look at your og astro wire it has protection in case of any bending, which this product does not. If you don't mind paying 10 dollars for max 2-3 months of use then go ahead but I will be paying the extra money for a higher quality wire after I write this review.
