This fit my can very well and is air tight. As far as I am concerned, there is not better. Just wish I could the the same model for a different size can opening.

The Craftsman gas can had been stored for a long time due to the missing spout. It is a 2" not the standard 1 3/4". I installed this spout using the original ring and it is 100% leak free! Every other gas can I have either leaks or is a giant pain to use to put gas in a vehicle. This one works perfectly! I wish I'd bought this sooner, I could have saved myself fuel spills and gas smelling hands. To note, you may have better luck whe using with a lawn mower by using a funnel or not filling the gas can 100% full as the spout angle seems designed for fueling a vehicle.

Angle is to straight and gas comes flying out before you can get nozzle in gas tank.I tried with a generator and riding lawn mower.The supplied vent cap doesn’t fit ( to small ) and cap for spout the retaining strap broke off first time…So I Installed my old spout back on.Had higher hopes for made in America product.

I bought this spout to replace an old one with a punctured filter screen on a plastic fuel can with 2” neck opening. Nice spout kit but not quite the quality of the old spout it replaced. Also, the this spout is longer than the old one which makes storing the can with the new spout less convenient. Also, I found that the old neck collar fit a bit better than the one with the new spout, so I used it instead. But overall a perfectly serviceable replacement spout and one that fits the older 2” can opening.

Does exactly what it says it does. I hate the new gas can and spouts. My old gas plastic containers are good just have broken spouts. These replacements work great just double check the threads and openings on your gas can to make sure you get the correct one

Did not work on a P500 can, as advertised. Nice nozzle, to bad it didn't fit.

It was sorely needed and saved us from throwing a fuel container away. Fit perfectly!

Threads do not fit older P500 Chilton 5 gallon Plastic cans. Was able to salvage the old threaded part and combine that with the new yellow spout to make it work.
