The real thing; Dutch treat, like a 'stroop cookie", waffle-style.
I haven't reviewed this? I've ordered a few times now, each time as a rare/special treat. I actually came to like these while in Amsterdam, where variations of this are common. This is like - it actually is - 'the real thing' in terms of a basic 'stroop' wafel/cookie. Wonderful as often served, a minute or two on a hot cup of coffee (or tea), so it softens a bit and gets super yummy. It can be dipped in, or eaten dry but warm. My only caution: I had one fall in to a very wide-mouthed mug after heating. In brief, it's the real and familiar thing for those who crave this unique treat. If it's something new you want to try, picture a caramel/pancake syrup smell, harder consistency unless heated, and very chewy at room temp. With a waffle flavor, as in the name. But cookie vibe. Does that make sense? A nice treat for self, or gift.

Caramel waffles
I just returned from Florida and United offered these as a snack. After I ate it I kept the wrapper so I can order more when I got home. These are so good, nice size and not to sweet. Great snack or for anytime you just want a bite. The caramel is wonderful as is the waffle it is between. Will order more when needed.

SO GOOD!
Delightful. Not a knockoff! Very tasty. Best after it sits over hot coffee for a while. Like a lid.

Not individually wrapped.
They taste good. I am not sure if it states anywhere, but the product that comes in these boxes are NOT individually wrapped. That ended up being a hassle.

Warning: Highly Addictive - These Stroopwafels Are Pure Bliss!
Okay, let's just be honest here: these Daelmans Stroopwafels are like crack. Seriously. I'm not even kidding. I got a box, thinking, "Oh, these will be a nice little treat." Now, I have to physically restrain myself from eating the whole box in one sitting. I've actually had to set a rule – one a day, max! It's a struggle, people, a serious struggle. There's just something about that warm, gooey caramel sandwiched between those thin, crispy waffles. It's the perfect combination of sweet and chewy. And the fact that they're individually wrapped? Dangerous! So convenient, yet so tempting. I love warming them up on top of my coffee cup – it makes them even more decadent. But honestly, they're just as good straight out of the package. They're perfect for a little afternoon pick-me-up, a late-night snack, or, let's be real, anytime you need a little dose of pure happiness. I'm already planning my next order. If you haven't tried these yet, you're missing out. But be warned – you might just become as addicted as I am! Five stars, and I'm not even sorry. These are worth every single calorie. Seriously, run, don't walk, and get yourself a box! Maybe that will help work off the calories! :-)

Best Stroopwafel by far!
Daelman's Stroopwafels are unbeatable. Their flavor is delicious. I've ordered these may times in the past and am always pleased. However, the last two orders have been shipped in heavy paper bags rather than structured cardboard boxes. The bags, being unstructured, allow the Stroopwafels to shift during shipping and become damaged. It is normal for the caramel filling in the last couple of Stroopwafels in the bottom of the original box to have the filling oozing out of the cookie portion of the wafel whether it be from still being warm when packaged or just the weight of the other stroopwafels during storage and or shipping. Shipping the Stroopwafels in cardboard boxes opposed to paper bags may remedy this. I'd love to hear from the seller why this might have happened.
