I suppose or what I expected and very very pretty. Use them tonight with our dinner it has the bridges for holding it but it's still feels the heat strongly. The size is nice the weight is nice and I think the sturdiness is good too, they're going to last a while.

Purchased for a house warming and my friend loved it that her parents bought another set for themselves!

These bowls were alright, I was hoping for large ramen bowls like the ones used at restaurants but these were about as big as regular cereal bowls at home. And too expensive for the size and material too. These bowls are about have about 900ml (32oz) capacity whereas a large ramen bowl is about 1500ml capacity.

Good product, however I would recommend wooden chopsticks over plastic. I knew what I was getting as it tells you, just generalized.
