Directv SWM 8 and SWM 16 Power Supply - 29 Volts

Replaced my old unit which was overheating with this one. It works great.

Fixed the problem

Needed for the newer SWM13 LNBs (13 tuner), and optional for the older SWM 8 tuner LNBs. Works perfect.

Bought it due to the original dying in a power outage which also happened to several neighbors with DirecTV and is (apparently) a known issue with these devices.Works as expected. Simple plug/connect and play.

Did exactly what I expected it to do when I bought it.

Cheap and works great. Hopefully it will stand the heat from my attic for years to come.

It fit perfectly and replaced what I needed it for.

Replaced a failing power inserter that was causing the TV picture to break up with this unit. Works great and runs cooler than the original unit the DTV sent me years ago. I was sent a slightly different unit from what was pictured in the add (It had a pass through port which I don't use). But I just capped the output and it works flawlessly.
