The number of injectors to use per tree is dependent upon the size of the tree. Here is the method to determine the number of injectors taken directly from the manufacturers instructions: "Measure the tree at chest height in inches. If measuring the circumference, divide this number by six (6) to determine the number of micro- injectors needed. If measuring diameter, divide this number by two (2) to determine the number of micro-injectors needed. If the number of micro-injectors results in a fraction, round down to the lower whole number. The health, species of the tree and the environmental conditions will determine the rates of uptake."

Yes you can, however it shouldn't be necessary unless the fronds are turning yellow. You should do three injections and the best time of the year to inject the trees should be around Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.

My queen palms were were very sick when they were given two injection treatments three months apart. I think you can maintain healthy Queens with spikes alone so I’ve been told. They say you should do that annually. Hope this helps a little. Please keep in mind I’m not even close to being an arborist.
