Not reliable as expected.
The boot sole toe came off after 2 weeks. Not sports shoes.

My daughter has a somewhat narrow foot and these fit her great. The 1.5 would probably be a little better with room to grow but these are a perfect right now fit and she loves the styling.

I'll rate this 3.5 star. My 4 year old son has wide feet. He wears a size 11 to 11.5 in most brands. I ordered a size 12 to have a little room to grow. Size 12 is too tight and too small for him. We replaced it with a size 13 and fitting is fair. Size is right but width is still a little tight. At the end of the day, he says it's tight. I did not see any redness indicating too much pressure or friction. The material is flexible. Given a few wear, I think it will be stretched and it'll be fine. BTW I am an orthopedic physical therapist and I also have these shoes for my self (4 pairs). Some brands like Onitsuka make their product a little smaller or tighter compared to most brands. I usually wear a size 10. With this brand, size 11 medium is the right size for me. Overall it's a fairly good shoes for it's price with good materials and design. A lot of cool style to chose from. Good for a very active child. It's just a little narrow.

I was fortunate enough to get these at a discount from the warehouse. The pair I bought had been returned due to a small cosmetic defect (the sole was peeling at the toe a little), but after fixing said issue, I was able to say I'd scored a pair of these amazing shoes for really cheap. I used to skate, so I'd become accustomed to wearing Vans every day for the past 7 years. They were nice enough, but I needed a change. I wanted something dignified, something nice looking. Enter the Asic Tigers. I'd first discovered them through, of all places, The Walking Dead. Glenn (Steven Yeun's character) wears a pair of 66's in the first season of the show, and I became attatched to the appearance of the shoe. Low profile, versatile, and yet still athletic. I began my search and soon ended up with these 81's arriving at my door. Where can I begin? They're lightweight, great looking, supportive, and comfortable as all get out. I love them enough to make me want a pair in every color combo available. It is so difficult to find shoes that work with my bizzare, almost troll like feet, but it seems that I've found my go to. I'd happily purchase another pair. Great shoe

I wear these shoes for parkour, so there are really three things I'm looking for in a shoe: grip, durability, and padding (or lack thereof). Grip: Incredible! They stick to just about anything very well. I don't jump on rails without them! Padding: At first I thought they had too much padding, but once I broke them in fully, which took me a while, I was a lot more comfortable balancing on them. Second only to my vibram five fingers, with virtually no padding, but I hate taking any impact with those. The tigers are a really good middle-ground. Durability: Shortly after buying them, the rubber part on the front of the shoe started to peel off, but hasn't caused any issues. And about a month ago (10 months after purchasing) the inside sole of the shoe started to break apart. So far, only cosmetic issues- the grip hasn't diminished at all, and the overall structure of the shoe is holding together. I've been really beating up on them lately, so I'm considering buying another pair soon. Took a short break from them and wore KO Pres for about a month, which were awesome while they lasted.... Which was only about a month. Their grip died very quickly. 10/10 would recommend!

These shoes are somewhat narrow, but not uncomfortably so. My son wears them to school & is happy running around in them all day.
