Kenwood MP3/USB/AUX Marine Boat Yacht Stereo Receiver CD Player Bundle Combo w/ RC35MR Wired Remote Control, Enrock Water Resistant 22" Radio Antenna, Outdoor Rubber Mast 45" Antenna

This receiver comes in a box (no speakers) that says nothing about it being waterproof and yet their advertisement on Amazon says it is. Their instruction manual is on recycled paper in small type and almost impossible to read. The remote has 4 very short wires sticking out of it about 8" which means you would have to splice these wires together and then figure out how to connect to receiver.. What it should have is at least 15 ft of wire, more would be handy, and a connector at the end that plugs into a connector receiver at the receiver. What a chincy POS and it cost more than the others with 4 speakers. Don't buy it.

The box was all beat up and remote badly scratched up..The stereo is a 3 star unit. Not bad but nothing special

Stopped putting out sound after two weeks. I’ve tried everything. It turns on and says that it’s connected to my phone and I can control the whole display and functions but no sound.

The external control is not compatible with this stereo unit. You need a kca-rc55mr. The kca-rc 35mr is NOT compatible.....wish I could get my $$ back on this purchase!

This Kenwood stereo worked perfectly for our boat. I was thrilled to receive it quickly and are enjoying the sound of music!

Nice stereo for the boat, easy Bluetooth hook up and the wire remote is a nice size for the dash or back of the boat.
