Mr. Coffee Flintshire Stainless Steel Whistling Tea Kettle, 1.75-Quart, Brushed Satin

Either the item I received was a fake/copy, or the original one that I received is horrible quality. It was already tarnished and chipped at the spout, it will clearly rust after a few uses.

This little guy is smaller than my original red one but I love how light it is and I love the colour. It works great. I like the construction of the bottom of the kettle as it doesn't get scuffed up or chipped like some others do.

I chose the Mr. Coffee Whistling Tea Kettle for the following reasons: 1) I wanted a new whistling tea kettle; 2) I fell in love with the design; 3) my kitchen curtains have a little red in them; 4) the price was right. I keep the Mr. Coffee Whistling Tea Kettle for the following reasons: 1) I still have a daily need for a whistling tea kettle; 2) every time I see it, I love the design even more. It has a sort of elegance which grows on one. 3) When one removes the whistle, the spout appears-- a handy, comfortable, just the right size for pouring spout which does not spill or splash or drip ! One can remove the lid to fill the kettle, or one can choose to place the spout under the kitchen faucet and fill it --most conveniently--that way!; 4) the handle is sturdy, comfortable, and never over heats; 5) the just right red color really does match my curtains; but most of all (6) when I am working away in my kitchen with ten absolutely immediate tasks before me, the teapot catches my eye and it is eye-candy with its symmetrically designed self. I pause. I smile. At that moment I am reminded that it is worth every penny I spent for it.
