Real "blue" blocking sunglasses
The tint of blue blocking glasses takes a while to get used to and these are genuine blue blocking glasses.I ordered these on a trip to visit relatives during the peak of snow fall from Montana to East North Dakota. As the sun rose during my 7 hour trip I put these on during my last hour on the road. I was testing this non stop for a while, flipping the glasses up and down just to see the difference. The blue/purple shadows on the snow is turned to a slight green or cyan green. It sort of gives you the impression of being on Mars (as far as your imagination can take you). This blocks out an impressive amount of glare and I would say to the extent you feel no need to squint at all during any moment with these on.If you are fortunate enough to live in a state with snowfall and happen to have these during that time, you can really test out its effectiveness. Look at some bright white snow during high noon and you basically see white, put these on and you can actually see the texture of the snow. The blue blocking qualities aside we move on to the actual durability of the product. The frame I would imagine is not the strongest, but so far I don't have much issue with this. I keep this strictly as driving glasses and they remain in my vehicle. The lenses don't appear to have any kind of scratch resistant treatment and so do seem to be readily prone to them. An email to Triple Optics with my concerns and it's taken care of. Great customer service.Triple Optic's customer service is top notch and so far they stand by the claim you see.Not everyone appreciates the Retro design and I didn't think much of it, but these seem to work for people with giant heads like mine and their design doesn't give me a headache. The glasses are affordable and backed by awesome customer service. You can't go wrong.

Retro Style Frames
This is the second pair of zeroUV blue blocking sunglasses I've purchased in about a month. Nothing wrong with the other pair, I just wanted to try another style of frame. These Retro 80s style glasses are Ok, but I have an issue with the design of the nose piece. As you can probably see from the image of the glasses on the product page, the frames have a wedge shape nose piece that tapers to almost a point. I get a little bit of discomfort when wearing the glasses for an extended period of time. I would imagine people with a different shape of nose might not. Other than that I like the sunglasses. These are Blue Blockers, if you've never tried a pair be aware that there is a noticeable shift in visible colors while wearing them. For me, I see most things is sort of a muted sepia brown color, with anything green or red appearing more prominent. It took me awhile to become comfortable with the color shift. But these glasses do block blue, and make things a lot clearer on bright sunny days. These are a fairly inexpensive pair of sunglasses, compared to a lot of other brands - and the materials somewhat reflect that. The frames are not real heavy duty, but still they should be more than adequate for every day use (just don't sit on them).Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

It changes the colors of what you're viewing
I like the fit of the glasses. They are not tight against my temples. But they change some of the colors you view. For example, the blue of a Lowe's bucket or of the background in the NAPA logo looks black. My car is a slightly lighter blue and it appears to be navy blue. The blue variety of lobelia (a flower) appears magenta. The blue of ageratum (another flower) appears a reddish pink. I realize that these are blue-blocking sunglasses but so were the Ambervision sunglasses they replaced and Ambervision never outright changed the colors of things, just made the colors more vivid.

they are great. I think that for $12
Basically, as expected...as some of the reviews said, they are a little larger than one might expect, but other than that , they are great. I think that for $12, they more than meet expectations. They arrived timely, well packaged, and even included a little carrying baggie. I bought them to wear in the pool / beach, without having to worry of messing them up in chlorine / salt water. They are actually a little TOO NICE for that purpose. I could totally wear them out and about with zero reservations. They look good and have a nice tint (not too dark nor too light).Don't be so harsh and expect brand name quality of glasses that sell for over $50. These will get the job done and keep you looking good!

Cheap, defective, and no returns allowed. Don't buy these!
These are utter trash and the company selling them offers no returns or refunds even if defective. DO NOT BUY THESE! Seriously, right out of the Amazon mailing box they come in a beat up little box. They have a little black bag inside holding the sunglasses but the glasses themselves are made of a really cheap plastic, and the parts that rest on your ears aren't even aligned. I can't wear these because they sit at an angle on my face due to the defect and trying to reset the alignment is inadvisable because these glasses feel so cheaply made they would likely break trying to fix it.I guess I should have looked closer at the seller's return policy but good lord why does Amazon even allow sellers on here that sell defective products and don't allow returns at all? I want my money back but I apparently am stuck with this crap now.Avoid this product and this seller at all costs.**Update** after Amazon saying refunds/returns weren't available I was able to go through Amazon's robo-chat support and request a refund due to these being defective out of the box. That worked it seems so I should be getting my money back but the normal method of requesting a refund or replacement didn't provide this option so be aware you may have to find an unusual way to receive a refund if you buy these and get defective glasses like me. I still advise against purchasing from the seller. Any company that refuses to do returns for defective product is sketchy.
