Inositol Caps – 1000 mg - Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Vegetarian - 360 Vegetarian Capsules

I have tried different brands. I think the quality of this brand is a little better than some of the others. It’s a good price for the quantity and strength per capsule. I started taking it for family planning purposes and feminine health, but since I work in pharmacy, I read up on it. It has benefits for quite a few other health issues as well. As far as I know, the potential side effects are very minimal, most of which I never personally experienced.

I started taking this 6 months ago to see if I would have any benefits for insulin resistance. Having gestational diabetes in my pregnancy last year I thought hey why not. I also read that it could help with OCD so great, two birds with one stone. I started taking 2000mg a day for a few months and noticed some slight improvement for my OCD symptoms. I upped to 4000mg a day and around month 4-5 I started noticing I no longer had the OCD tendencies I had previously. I cannot tell you what a relief it is!! I feel so much calmer and relaxed. It helped with my sleep tremendously. I’ve never been a “bad” sleeper but now that I’ve been taking this supplement I sleep like a baby. Solid, 8 hours. Not groggy in the morning. Vivid dreams. I wake feeling rested and refreshed. (I also recently added 100mg magnesium citrate before bed which I also would shout from the rooftops about how much it’s helped me). This product is a godsend for me and I’m glad I stuck with taking it for so long to see the benefits.
