Sturdy, lovely colour and lots of holds.
For the budget price this tarp has been fantastic and there's been no issues keeping the rain out. I've found the best setup for my tent is 3 poles front and either side, with the rear attached to the tent, making it very spacious to stand under. The main weakness is the pegs being pretty low quality and struggling to stay in, you'd be better off swapping out for some rigged pegs, and though I can't fault the rope either, it's on the cheap end as you'd expect, still, no issues with it other than you would need some more rope anyway for adding more poles in.The colour is lovely and has a slight light-brown sheen to it in sunlight that gives it an almost iridescent look.

Great tarp. I would possibly seam seal it.
Really sturdy I have had it trampoline tight with no issues in this years stonher winds. Guy lines are nice and long giving you options and the tarp stays good and tight over time. The tarp does leak through the guy line patches so could do with sealing. Other than that it's a good tarp and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Above expectations im am most impressed.
KALINCO 3mx3m Hammock Rain Fly/Tent Tarp.I have bought and reviewd many Tarps over the years, i never go camping/hiking without one they are super versitle and easy to use. This Tarp is no exception its not the lightest but it is well made it features 19 tieout points and each point is well sewn and renforced it also comes with 6 decent guy lines each line has a handy plastic toggle/tensioner the 6 pegs however are crook style lightweight alloy which is great but they are short so will need replacing i also like the colour its kind of brown meets dark olive it has a nice sheen but its dull enough that it easily blends into a wooded area.Im very impressed, the only tarp i own on par with this is my British Army Basha and the Basha is smaller and harder to pack away.5 stars all the way with this one ill happily buy more of these in the future or maybe try the bigger one.

This is as good as any double D tarp
I bought this tarp as a backup for when i go wild camping (i like to have backup just incase) and the quality is fantastic for the price, this is as good as any of the leading manufacturers of tarps so much so i have bought 2 more because of how cheap they are. There are loads of eye loops so can be used as a basic tarp or many different tarp tent configurations, do not let the fact it isnt one of the big companies out you off buying this tarp.

great budget tarp
nothing bad to say about this tarp , bought as an obvious DD clone performs every bit as well , survives wild camping in Scotland . Good enough for me to have bought 3 so far two for my own use and one for my lady friend who wild camps with me

Imperfections or Damaged goods
I waited for it to arrive packed straight into my bag for my little camping trip. Got it unpacked and seen this mark which is gonna a be a weak spot in bad weather.

Buy cheap, buy twice
The Kalinco 3x3 Hammock is there to provide an alternative to brand name tarps, even going so far as to mimic the packaging. It falls short of the real thing however. The pegs and guy ropes will do the job, but are on the cheap side.Whilst it will provide a 3x3 area to sleep under and keep you relatively dry, it has a serious flaw. The issue is the seams. Whilst reinforced with some PVC/Rubber material, the stitching is poor and stretches the stitch loops when set up. This allows water to permeate the underside of the tarp and run down onto you or your kit. A pretty serious flaw for a piece of kit designed to keep you dry. Disappointing. Consider a brand name tarp costs about £10-12 extra, i’d swerve this tarp and go for the better quality, established brand.Update: Having used the tarp for a second time in one week, it has eventually ripped. Avoid this tarp.
