Learning Resources Shape Shell Turtles, Set of 8

My toddlers love these! We learn our shapes and colors with these little turtles! Highly recommend for fun learning!

My 2-year-old son played with this toy at a "mommy and me" class and absolutely loved it. I did not realize it was technically a water toy. When I went to buy it, I noticed reviews that water stayed in the turtles and mold would build up easily. I bought the toy knowing this and resolving that this was not to be a tub toy. As an early childhood educator, I love the components of learning and matching shapes and learning colors. My son quickly learned shape names and matches them up to the coordinating turtle. We have taken it one step further by matching the colored shell to a colored plastic toy plate. My son LOVES this toy and wakes up asking for his turtles. When he is done playing with them, this toy will stay with me in my career for years!

This is a great purchase on so many levels. First of all it’s turtles. Can’t ever miss on that. Then the fact that there are so many, and it is matching, more than just beyond the basic shapes. My soon-to-be two year-old granddaughter plays with them in the tub. An elementary school teacher friend commented on what a smart product this is. Great teaching product as well as fun.

We love these turtles! I bought them for my baby to play with in the tub and we ended up taking them to the pool too and sharing with friends. Many people asked where we got them and I even bought 2 more sets so we'd have lots of turtles (6 kids and lots of friends). They squirt water too and I've never had them get moldy which is awesome. My older kids like matching the shapes and naming the colors for my toddler. And she likes chasing them around the pool with a little net to catch them. And the baby can hold one easily and chew on them and I don't worry she'll bite through the thick plastic. Perfect for a gift too :)

These were a gift to by granddaughter. She loved them. They are small pieces so watch your step at night, kinda like stepping on legos.
