I watch this book....
If you want to know about high end mechanical watches and be up and ready to talk with a snobbish well educated horologist....then get this book and start reading it. Nice picture, but great info on these very expensive watches with lots of little facts. Good book if your hobby is time pieces.

A wonderful must have for Horology enthusiasts
Gives an history of every watchmaker, both luxury and non-luxe historical companies, and tells the story of the watch that out them on the map and those keeping them on the map

Belo livro.
Recomendo.

Great book for all
I work in the watch industry and it's a fantastic book for me personally, but that's to be expected as Stephen Pulvirent is arguably the world's pre-eminent watch journalist working today. What I thought was particularly impressive though was how well received the book was by my colleagues working in the studio whose interests came more from a jewellery or engineering background. It's rare for a book to have that broad appeal.
