Works as expected.
The best thing one can say about a product is, "Works as expected." I was wanting to monitor the temperature of a air duct. The installed one was in an awkward position. I stuck this in a more convenient location. It and the installed one agreed within one degree. Couldn't ask for anything better than that.

Good Quality
Great quality put into these meters. I bought 2 and they arived in great shape. Both reading the same temp. Definitely worth buying

Very accurate.

They work
Pay attention installing them, the brass threads are cut deep so a little bit trickier to get a good seal.

Well made....accurate
I tested this thermometer against a laboratory-grade thermometer and found it to be quite accurate. It's well made and a good value.

Accurate
Seems pretty accurate. It read 73 while my thermostat said 72. It’s perfect size too, the other 2 inch gauges always seemed too small. Five stars

Exactly as Described
In response to the reviewer who wrote, "The threads are not 1/2" but 3/4". " They simply don't understand with what they are working. These thermometers are listed as having a 1/2" NPT (National Pipe Thread) fitting. A 1/2" pipe is 1/2" on the _inside_. Pipes have a wall thickness (otherwise they wouldn't be a pipe). Therefore, the size of a 1/2" NPT fitting is quite a bit larger than a 1/2" SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) bolt. These thermometers are exactly as described, not cheesy, work well, and will gladly buy these exact ones again if the situation ever arises.

Decent gauge for the price
The gauge looks well built and works great. The only issue I have is the listing should be more clear as to what size the stem is and what size fitting it screws into. I was replacing one with 1/4 inch and this one was 1/2 inch. Just had to remove the 1/2 to 1/4 reducer but this meant draining the tank down. Not a big deal but would have been nice to know in advance.
