I have been using Eucerin Oil Control SPF50 for years and have always been very satisfied with it. I bought two tubes from the Eucerin Store on Amazon. The first one worked perfectly (no sunburn at all in strong tropical sun). However, with the second tube, used in the same location and conditions, I got badly sunburned on my face despite staying mostly in the shade. My body, protected with a different SPF50 sunscreen, did not burn at all. This makes me concerned about: – possible heat damage during storage or transport – or inconsistency between batches

Great product if you don’t wear makeup. If you do, not so great. My makeup moves all over the place when I wear this under it, so I’ve resorted to only using it during my morning walks or while in the house or in the yard.

Having never heard of Eucerin I stumbled across it recommended on a skin care thread. I have oily, acne prone skin and struggle to find a face sun cream that doesn't leave me a greasy mess. Eucerin is great for this! The packaging is a cylindrical tube with a press top that dispenses the suncream. Cons of this are its difficult to know exactly how much you have in the tube however it's very easy to use. The cream itself is an offwhite colour but does not leave a white cast and absorbs really well. I don't use moisturizer before using this and have found my skin is a tiny bit drier but doesn't get oily which is great. Value for money wise I'd say it's a little pricier than some brands however as it absorbs so well, feels nice, isn't tacky/sticky and doesn't leave me greasy it's worth the money. Plus it's a 50+ SPF rating! I've recommended it to quite a few people now as for a face suncream it's pretty spot on. Hasn't broken me out in spots either and just generally seems like a good, reliable cream.

This is my go to face sun defence. Especially for the South African summer sun. I am disappointed though that no where on the packaging or manufacturer website does it indicate vegan. One can only hope. This product apply easily onto skin for a smooth, matt finish with no shine. Do not clog my pores. Smells good, too.
