Bright, nice wide illumination
Used many different ones. These are just the right amount brightness. wide even light. only downside is it flashes when it gets low on battery good and bad can be annoying. Sometimes we hurry.

Great Battery Life, Thin Plastic
The product I purchased was the headlamp with strap; product #56049 sold by and shipped from Amazon.Perhaps there was a bad run of these headlamps. Maybe some sellers' storage solutions, or varieties of product have resulted in an unreliable battery life in some models. I cannot speak on the reasons why some reviews have noted terrible battery life with any authority. There are plenty of reviews noting the issues.What I can 100% say is this: I fully charged this headlamp and let it run on the lower of the two settings it has (125 lumens). It ran for a little over 15.5 hours non-stop before shutting down. That's more than the advertised runtime.I will agree that the rear plate of the headlamp, including the hinge, seems to be thin and possibly a weak spot prime for breakage. I have another Klein headlamp that is meant to click onto their hardhats in the same way as this one, but instead of a rechargeable battery it uses 3 AAA batteries. The rear mounting plate and hinge are more robust and do not seem as weak and flimsy as this one.Only time will tell how well this headlamp will stand up to use on the jobsite. For now, I am glad that the battery life seems great. I will have to be careful with the hinge and hope I don't drop the headlamp, as I expect it will break.

Works well, battery life could be better
The headlamp works great it’s a bright flood beam, it’s easy to use, and it’s a good price, my only complaint would be the battery life, it’s definitely no where near as long as other headlamps. But I do like the interoperability with the mounting clips and being able to switch the headlamp out in seconds from the strap to a hard hat it makes it much more versatile than other competitors. Plus with the limited battery life you can switch the headlamp out for a second one that’s charged when this one goes dead.

This is a really great little headlamp. I like how the battery level can be check when it's turned on.
