My son does not like reading. Period. But he devoured these. The stories are fascinating, blending humour with serious social issues. But it's not preachy. The dialogue is realistic and the characters are heartwarming. The perfect book for someone around the age of 12.

I love these books. I bought them to see if my high school students in a modified ELA classroom could read them-and fell in love with with this author. Reading level is easy to understand (students are at a k-5th grading reading level) super gripping and emotional reads. I have been struggling to get back to reading and these books reminded me why I love reading. Great for everyone!
