Writes great on wood!
I bought this set of pens so I could write a message on the inside of a baby mobile. I was sure that the ink would sink into the grain and be hard to read but it worked perfectly! As easy as writing on paper! The gold color is so beautiful. I would write on a scrap paper before writing on your actual project every time as the flow can be wonky when you first start writing

Love these pens
These are true chrome pens. If having the reflective chrome that looks like liquid gold and silver matters to you vs gold & silver colored pen, these are the pens for you.I've used them for a variety of purposes. I will share 1 way I used them (totally off purpose but might be useful), where o don't recommend them. I have used these to draw designs over my nail polish (before I got chrome powders for nail art), and the chrome does wear off when using it like that, and if you clear coat over it with clear polish, it didn't look like chrome any more. I don't know if there is a similar thing that happens when clear coating with other products, but I can't say for sure.Anyway, I love these pens! I have used them for writing English translations on my German kipper cards and they just look great and don't create any stickiness or smudges when allowed to fully dry (which doesn't take a super long time).

Great metallic tone, easy to use with little practice
Love these markers! The colors are very nice and I wish there were more metallic tones available! My one note is that these ones paint with a wider stroke than the same brand marker I purchased at a craft store. Not sure why, maybe the pain just flows quicker? They are fine point but not the same as fine liner pens. The paint maybe comes out at a width of 1-1.75mm with average writing pressure.

High pigment, if a bit messy - picture of silver
OK so first off I’m revisiting this purchase, and I see I made it 4 years ago. So secondly this formula has a place in my heart since I first saw it in the 90s and it’s really the same then as now, really bold and vivid. But it can also be really runny and after buying them over the years it’s kind of a hit or miss whether you’ll get a good one. I would say about every 1 in 5 can be funky so that’s why I’m taking off a star. Honestly once you put too much pressure on it, it’s game over, who knows what it’ll do next. So give it a good shake, test it on another surface by gently pushing the nib to get it to flow, and write at a bit of an angle. So I’m here buying the gold again because, yeah, she died quickly, it just did not go well. The silver baby is going strong, and I’m too lazy to store her on her side as instructed, so this girl is tough like ox. In comparison to the Uniball Signo, no comparison, the Pilot paint marker wins hands down. 2nd photo shows the Pilot marker on 4 mediums the second they were dry, mildliner in violet, Derwent inktense watercolor pencil deep rose (no water), Derwent inktense watercolor pencil in deep rose (with water wash), and apple barrel matte acrylic in purple iris.

Inexpensive and long lasting!
These sapphire nail files are very good for keeping nails dressed. Much better that steel files, as the leave a very smooth edge, and allows touch up with light pressure. .

points are mujch too wide to be an "extra fine point".
These are not extra fine points. The line width is almost 1/16th of an inch wide.
