Blackberry and brush destroyer! Best attachment I own for clearing overgrown brush
This is the one! I maintain about 3 acres and for blackberries, Hawthorne, tall grass ect this is the tool. Paired to my Stihl Fs 91r it works much better than the 2 blade version and WAY better than any of the saw blade or triangle shaped cutters hands down. It’s not for the weak though, the inertia behind it can wake you up if you hit something big. And wear a face shield! It chops and throws debris like a blender in a hurricane. Go up and down to clear berry vines and bramble the. Side to side to mulch. Best attachment ever made.

Great especially for black berries.
Love this thing. It is the ideal attachment for cutting and mulching up black berries, shrubs, bushes, small trees, thick grass. Use with a strong weed wacker - I used it with a Stihl 131 which worked well. Blade is pretty heavy so adjust your technique compared to lighter weight attachments. Blade is pretty dull when you get it so you should sharpen it before use. For anything bigger than 2 inches diameter use a saw blade. But saw blades don't mulch anywhere near as well as this does.

Superior to flat blades. Mulches well
[All – tight harmony] 🎶 Oooh that blade don’t play, no sir! Slices through the thistle and the fir! Turns brambles to butter, those berries to mush, Blackberry bushes get mulched in a rush! 🎶 [Tenor – cheeky high note] 🎶 Zip-zap! Spin and sway! 🎶 [Bass] 🎶 Hear the briars pray! 🎶 [Baritone & Lead] 🎶 No mercy today— ‘Cause that blade don’t play! 🎶 ⸻ [Lead – testimonial verse] 🎶 I used to curse, I used to swear, At vines a-tanglin’ everywhere. But now I grin while they fall away, Like a barber’s whiskers on Saturday! 🎶 [All – barbershop “chorus burst”] 🎶 Blackberry briars beware, beware! Your reign of pain ends then and there! From root to crown, they’re chopped and tossed— That metal blade shows who’s boss! 🎶

Terrific with tangled brush, but with dangerous caveat
I love this product and have been using it on my 32cc weed wacker to tackle some tangled bushes of a certain species. The growth is not unlike blackberry and it works great. Also works great on matted vegetation. Occasionally I strike through thicker hardwood stems and it chops through alright. Sometimes I give it quite a bit of force. This may not have been the proper use of such a tool for after perhaps hundreds of saplings I felt a violent vibration when one of the three tines broke off! Fortunately nobody was hurt. I suppose that may be a week point on the metal. A saw blade or straight blade would have been a better tool for saplings. Yet I love it and it makes mincemeat of tangled vegetation. I ordered another.

Absolutely Fantastic
Absolutely Fantastic This is the absolute best attachment for clearing light brush that I have used. I have several properties that are wooded and I have been clearing out under brush. I have used several different types of blades including the tei-blade, saw blades and the forester blade. This blade is perfect for anything the size of your thumb and smaller. The Forester blade it great for everything larger. This blade will mulch as you go. I prefer to go in with this blade first, then go back with the forester blade to get the big stuff. I can easily do an acre in about 4 hours.

string trimmer mulcher blade.
Glad to report this fits the EGO STA1500 POWER+ Multi-Head System String Trimmer Attachment. Got the 3mm version since the weight is about 15g over the weight of EGO's brush cutter blade. Where has this been all my life. It's like a mulcher for the string trimmer. Handles vines, tall brush, and clumping grass no problem. Out the box mines did not come sharpened and had a thick coat of paint on the blades. Now I need a gas trimmer. Battery is not cutting it for my usage (7yrs on EGO platform). It does fling mulched material at you so wear safety equipment especially face/ eye protection.

Demolishes briars!
Excellent brush cutting blade. I run this on a Stihl 131 trimmer bike handle and two shoulder harness and use alternatively with the Stihl 3-knife blade (flat). With the downward curved tips on this blade, it cuts in two dimensions and does an extraordinary job. I bought the 4mm thickness model and it is strong enough to tear through very large briar patches with excellent efficiency. It does add a fair amount of vibration because it is heavier than the stihl 3-knife blade. I bought this for clearing briars and it has dramatically outperformed my expectations!

I use this with an Einhell petrol brushcutter, bought to clear the densely overgrown garden at my late parents' house. It utterly destroys any vegetation in its path, not just cutting it down, but reducing it to a fine mulch. It takes a bit of practice, and i find you have to use it a few different ways depending on the growth. Tall grass needs a sweeping motion a bit like a scythe. Brambles, just move over them slowly. Then for anything on the ground like the stumps of brambles or grass clumps, drop the blade down on them. A couple of passes reduces it all to nothing. Hitting rocks or concrete causes it to bounce off and so far no damage to the blade (but usually a chunk of rock is missing). Please make sure you have a guard on the blade and you wear protective gear as debris is sent flying at high speed.
