I purchased this product to use as a back-box to fit a new 20A double pole cut-off switch outside the bathroom door for the isolation of the mains supply if work is needed on the bathroom light fitting or to simply change the bulb, after changing the pull-cord switch from a single-way to a double-way for a modification in the circuit. You need to be competent to undertake electrical work and there are new rules about what you can do where in a bathroom. I am competent because I was trained in electricity and electronics for a living. The supply must be cut-off before starting work and you must have an electrical detector to give you a warning if the circuit that you are about to work on is live as a check to make sure there really is no power present and safe to carry out the work. They are reasonably cheap to buy and it could save your life. I would not undertake electrical work if I had not been trained. If you are not competent I suggest you employ an electrician to carry out the work. The backing box (known as a pattress) was easy to cut for making cable access and easy to fit. It provided the required functionality to allow good fitting of a suitable electrical item - a switch in my case. The quality is good and looks nice.

Cheap and deep enough

Again, it's a backbox, so what's to say, did what was needed just fine.

You don't get the screws that fixes the front plate on. And the box screw holes are small Back box is also plastic two much pressure on the screws the box will break

Some customers paid for one, received one, but thought they were buying ten!! Well, I paid for one, thought I was getting one, but got a BOX of ten. I am willing to send nine back to the seller if they contact me with post details and pay for return delivery. Apart from This, a Great Quality Product and described correctly.
