Get extenders for easy access.
I want to run add-on accessory wired to the battery (e.g. brake controller & 12v outlet) and this works just fine. I added washers between the wire terminal ends, but that is just me. The extra bonus and worth replacing the stock side mount battery terminals with these extended ones it that it makes it so much easier to attach jumper cables, chargers and battery maintainers, instead of trying to attach those clamps on that tiny nub the brilliant engineers built for side-mount car batteries. May they fumble with this on their own vehicle during inclement weather. This is especially important for engine compartments that are cramped, like my 1992 Chevy G-30 Van. I should have bought the double set. My 2000 Saturn side terminals are easier to get to, but why have the frustration of dealing with those tiny nubs, when an extender makes it as quick and confident as can be to slap on some clamps while making it easy to attach other wires that can stay in place permanently or temporarily, instead of using the stock nubs with their precarious grip of clamps that are too small for a secure attachment and threaten to pop off at any moment? Most car side post batteries will have a 3/8 hole, but it is wise to check first. Disconnect the battery and check with a 3/8" bolt thread. You can also get an inexpensive digital caliper for $10.00 which is a good household/DIY tool to have around to measure inner and outer diameters, depths and steps, measuring in inch, fractions & mm and a depth gauge & built in ruler.

Very high quality and exceeded my expectation.
These were absolutely great. I was able to make my own battery cables and use these to connect multiple cables to One battery. I still have room for amps and winches if I needed.

Worked for my side post battery
It fit nicely for my tahoe battery. The only complaint was I couldn't use the rubber insulated cover because the nut would be so far up inside of the rubber I couldn't get a wrench on it to tighten it. Since it was on the ground I removed the rubber cover. It was very easy to install. Quality seems good. Was a good value.

Nice and long. Ampper Long Side Post battery terminals.
I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado with a LS engine swap. There are two full size positive cables and an auxiliary cable going to the positive on the battery that always worked loose after a few hundred miles. I tried “long” side post terminals from O’Reilys and Autozone but they were only very slightly longer than the original terminal and also worked loose. The Ampper Long Terminals are about 4 threads longer, which make all the difference. No more loose battery cables since installing the Ammper Long terminal.

Works great as advertised.
Studs are just a tad longer then the normal extenders. Just what I needed. Would buy again.

these are absolutely GREAT for side post batteries every time i’d have to hook a booster or a charger to my side post battery in my GM/CHEV TRUCKS/SUV’s i’ve owned over the last 21+ yrs i always had trouble getting: 1) the booster to attach or 2) getting a charger to attach or 3) adding any extra items like say trailer brakes etc there was just never enough room to hook/connect anything to the terminals or once i did manage to, they would promptly snap/fall off the terminal now with these WONDERFUL super easy to install extenders those above issues are GONE My only regret is not buying these sooner if you have similar issues, like i explained above, with your side post batteries, then get yourself a pair of these and you’ll thank me and the maker/seller these are just GREAT :)

Great product for modern doors hinges, I do a great deal of renovations on older buildings so it’s not adaptable to older hinges. That being said I only rated it 3 as it wasn’t applicable for most of my work.

These are nicely machines brass, no burrs, clean finish. However, the description states that one side (short side) stud thread is 3/8"-16 (UNC), and the other side (long side) stud thread: 3/8"-24 (UNF). The posts I received were not made according to this specification. There is a nut supplied, and that nut fits equally well onto the threads on both ends. However, a 3/8-16 Grade 5 nut does not fit either end, and a 3/8-24 Grade 5 nut doesn't fit either. I don't have a quality Metric thread gauge, but I suspect these may be a Metric thread (M10?) (just a guess). The long side of the studs are not threaded for the full length, and the picture of cables connected to a battery also does not match the description. Assuming the threads were correct, it would probably still be necessary to use washers to "pack" the length on the long side to made a good contact, even with GMC double cables on the (+) side. Again, what I received does not match the picture. What I got may have been threaded incorrectly by mistake, or is meant for a different application. Other Ampper products I've used were well made and good quality, I don't know why the extended posts I received doesn't match the description. Check extended-post thread sizes against a known-size thread gauge (e.g. Starrett) or fastener before installation.

It works ok but i had to thread the long side all the way, not sure why this wouldn't be done from factory
