is the wiper a set for left and right side?

I didn't need to talk to anybody I know to blow off whatever Jeff Cox is rambling about. Mr. Pazuzu gave a wonderful answer. There's no need to go to any auto parts website, not sure why some unnamed third-party is more trustworthy than Amazon, but as Mr. Pazuzu noted the car's manual will provide the specifications for all the replacement parts in your vehicle including wiper blades. Whether or not the product you buy will be a single blade or a set of two depends on which option you select before adding it to your cart; and which blade goes on the right or left is dependent on your vehicle. Back in the day all my cars had the same blade on either side and it didn't matter, but for some time now every car I've worked on has different blade sizes on either side, but it's not universal which way they go. Whether it's best to buy a set of 2 or two individual blades depends on what the prices are when your making your purchase. For me, right now, is $7 cheaper (before tax) to get two individual blades instead of buying the combo set of two with the corresponding sizes... they actually cost more as a set of 2. So just check your manual for the correct sizes and type of connection, then compare the cost, and installation is easier than it might seem, but depending on what type you have it might make things even easier to watch their install videos before proceeding.

How many blades is this?

You get only one blade, unless you order a two-pack. For on blade the cost is relatively high. Be careful.

Is this one or two blades in pkg

When purchasing you can select one, two or combo. Selecting one gets you one wiper blade. Selecting two gets you two wiper blades of the same size. Selecting combo gets you two wiper blades that fit the car selected (which may be two different sizes). Fill out the my garage info for Amazon and the system will check to make sure what your car needs.

So i found the “front left” wiper but i cannot find “front right”. this seems like a silly issue. why not sell them in pairs?

Many vehicles these days take different sizes on the left and right. Example, my Dodge Grand Caravan takes 26" on left, 20" on right. There is an almost infinite number of combinations possible, therefore blades as sold a singles. Add to this the fact that most SUVs and Vans also use a single wiper on the rear window, the sizes of which start small but cross over into common windshield sizes. AND... especially with higher priced blades, if one blade brakes people only want to replace that blade. Therefore the industry has, over the last couple decades, switched to single blade packaging.

Great wiper blades, easy to install. Clean the window properly before installing it so you can tell if the streaks are due to a dirty window or improper installation / faulty product.

but tricky to install. I've always had issues replacing wipers and these were no exception. Originals are 4 yr old and one started to "tear" along the wipe strip so time to replace both. Got the original off easy enough. Read other reviews where the clip on these new ones is difficult to open/close. Well, just get a small flat head screwdriver and......pop it up. Easy peasy. Getting it on is another story. It slid on easy enough but trying to push that clip down to secure it? No how no way. Got a pair of pliers (be careful not to damage the wiper) and pressed but joy. Read and re-head the instructions. Should be simple. AND eventually it is. Slipping it onto the arm, you push it all the way and ......eventually you will hear a click and it's in and the clip that locks it in is now really easy to close. Keep at it and you'll figure it out. 5* for usage (3* for install--until you figure it out).

Easy to install very soft rubber material. Work very well after the first few uses the water beads off when not in use.
