Would have been an easy install but I mistook one line lead and attached to wrong terminal. The unit caught my mistake and said red wire was not attached correctly. But I am a little hard headed at times and thought that I had connected it properly. Once I went back through a second time did I catch my error and everything was up and running perfectly.

I love the pink contrast to my blue wall. I didn't think I'd love the color as much as I do, but it does look great on my wall with the nest mounted properly. We had it installed by an AC professional.

yes that was an unintentional rhyme. I was hoping this was a little more earthy and instead it's a little more florida coral pink. 4 stars because it comes with all sorts of hardware that the directions do not ask you to use or do they mention what it's for. Confusing, but does a good job of hiding the spot your old larger thermostat resided in and looks great.

This is cool. The item description or the pictures displayed didn’t include the inner plate exactly. I went ahead to buy this assuming things. Initially it was not clear how the electrical board will be covered and how the nest thermostats will sit. Amazon would have included a picture of the inner steel plat and the screws. Anyway, the one package contained all necessary items and it was hassle free to assemble. Great product

Was gifted the Nest Thermostat for Christmas as I needed a new thermostat anyhow - ours was an older mercury one which was starting to dangle off the wall. We painted over paneling, so the smaller Nest left unpainted wood showing. The faceplate covered this and coordinates with the Nest well at a shade slightly darker and the paint on the wall.

Fit like a glove and matched the thermostat color exactly. Easy to install.
